This quaint little restaurant was delicious! Excellent taste and massive portion sizes. We ordered 3 mains for the 3 of us, but 2 would have been enough. Also you can grab free soup while you wait, which was also delicious.
It's small (only 4 tables), so you might have to come off peak to get a spo
Our favourite spot to eat in Auckland. The food is exceptional and so consistent. The lady who manages the front of house by herself is lovely very patient. The prices are great.
First time to experience Sarawak style laksa... it was very interesting! Plus the other dishes comforted our bellys and tastebuds during the winter cold. Very small restaurant but friendly owners. Ample parking, surrounded by many other small businesses. Will go back again and try their other Saraw

Authentic Malay food. Haven't tried everything on the menu but what I've tried is yummy. Will definitely be trying all of them.

Came back to NZ from London in search of good Malaysian food and this place was fantastic. Can’t recommend enough - it’s a small space but the staff provided great service and we loved the sawarak cuisine. Defo finish off with the milk buns!
Taisumyun is located in Northcote Central, in the grassy area between the carpark and the library.
The menu isn't very big but they have some very interesting items not seen in other Malaysian places. You can serve yourself some water and soup at the back counter. There were some kueh there as well
Tried both the Char Koay Teow and Hainanese Chicken Rice, it was really good and authentic flavour. The 'Pulut Panggang' tasted great too!. Will definitely go back again and to try the other local malaysian dishes.
Authentic food from Sarawak! We order Sarawak fried noodle soup (Foo Chow), fish noodle soup and Sarawak laksa. Sorry, usually I take photos but because it is so tempting, I forgot to take other photos. Definitely recommending to everyone!

The food here is so delicious (I had Sarawak kolo mee), and you can serve yourself some soup while you wait. The service was really friendly and definitely the best Malaysian cuisine I have had!
Made our first trip to Taisumyun last night and we were not disappointed! This place is super homely and the food is delicious! Some of the nicest and absolutely best value Malaysian food in town. Highly recommend
