We had a wonderful lunch at the star and garter, today. Delicious fish, with salad and chips. Even got a side-dish of cheese sauce to go with the chips. Got the "small" size meal; it was huge. I am so full. Great staff, it was very busy, but Lydia the waitress was very, very nice; despite being so busy. I know why people come here. Good food, great ambiance, excellent service and value. Thanks for a fantastic lunch!

My sister and I had brunch here on Sunday morning and the service was faultless. The food was really good. Would highly recommend this place.
