Looks bit like a shop, was not sure what food would be like. Ordered blue cod and chips, crisp batter fish cooked perfectly, chips crunch again perfect, service great, wine good, strongly recommend you stop if hungry as large portions. Awesome thankyou

Incredible friendly service, excellent food I had the chicken burger and it was amazing, fries are some of the best I have ever had they were perfectly cooked and crunchy.
I currently live in Sydney although I was originally born in Oamaru.
We booked in at the Coast Cafe on our way back from Dunedin and had a fantastic meal there. I have to say they have the the best fish and chips I have ever tasted - and the meal portions were very generous - their desserts were equally as delicious - great food and great service (the waitress who took our order was genuinely happy to serve us and smiled the whole time she attended our table). I would highly recommend you try this venue if you are ever passing through Oamaru.
Lovely, just lovely, the staff are just lovely especially the short young girl whit brown hair, i think her name was Lilly, if it was me I would go there 20 times a day, this is the place you should spend your afternoon ( I know I would ).
