Great place to stop in for something to have a coffee & eat...my ham sandwich was great, fresh bread and the ham was thick, real ham with plenty of it.
Welcoming and warm atmosphere. Very thoughtful regarding the kids play area. The food was exquisite and extravagantly delightful. One of the juiciest Venison I've ever had. Quite a decadent culinary experience and that too for the whole family.
We had small plates for sharing and they were all very tasty. If we had found this restaurant earlier, we would visit again definitely.
All plates were great.
However the soda drinks are tap drinks and it wasn't that fizzy and warm when I got mine. Since it was only $4, so I didn't complain it.

The space was lovely with a fire in the corner which heated the room perfectly. The atmosphere was lovely.
The staff were kind and funny. The food was GREAT!! So delicious! And the margaritas were good too š

Really delicious food. Every dish had the perfect balance of base ingredient and spices. So often chefs get too heavy handed with their favourite flavour, but at this restaurant the chef had achieved the ideal levels

Popular restaurant in Ohakune on the main road. Tasty food with generous portions on offer on the menu. Kids meals available as well, with the option to pay $3 more to add a drink and dessert for the kids. Staff were lovely and the place was busy. Booking is essential
Lovely place to go-to for Tapas and a drink.
Great kids area, one spot for the little kids and outside there is further games for the older kids like air hockey.
Slightly on the higher pricing, however for its location and food flavors its comparable to your main centers.
Accommodating to dietary
Just walk in on a winters night and see the beautiful wood fire with couches.
Food was good, we ordered Tapas to share would have been nice if they spaced them out instead of them arriving all at once. But that didn't stop us from enjoying them and eating them. Just made us look like piggies.

Honestly the best place in Ohakune. I had a Margherita pizza and it was the best pizza I had ever. However catered extremely well for allergy even checking ingredients on a sauce I hadnāt considered to make sure I could eat it.

17 of us dined and every meal was to perfection. Amazing flavor combinations! Warm atmosphere and reflection of ceiling lights look like stars above the mountain at dusk. A 5 star experience *****
We were down a few days after the carnage of mardi gras and this place gave exceptional service that was better than any other.
Pictured is the baked feta w/bread and the pan seared salmon with cauliflower rice which was brilliant.
