We go to Cadera at least twice a year and I could not recommend it more. The jalapeno poppers and the ribs are to die for. Always great service and friendly staff. We ordered drinks starters and mains and finished everything within an hour, very pleased to see such great customer service EVERY time.

Really cool atmosphere, awesome artwork throughout, sambreros to wear, nice outdoor area and really good food! If you like jalapeño poppers, these ones are hottttt! Literally stuffed with cheese and lightly battered. A little too hot for us but nice in small doses.
Had a great meal her just now, paella had lots of seafood in it and the fried chicken was nice with a tasty dip.
Absolutely love this restaurant.. their menu is varied.. their Fajita's are excellent, so tasty, and perfect for two people. Highly recommended, we'll continue to make the choice to drive over the hill to dine there. Thanks Cadera.
Whenever we are in Ohope we come here! Great place with exceptional food. Plus they are super fast If you are hungry after a day at the beach.
All our food was top notch. But for some strange reason the fries stood out the beat to us all tonight!
This is one of our favourite places to eat. Often used to go there when we lived in Whakatane. Really great customer service and really great food as I’ve always ordered their vegetarian food and it never disappoints! Definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting Whakatane/Ohope.

We are on holiday from Rotorua ,we have been twice previously and loved it, the bonus we could take our dog 🐕 outside of course . This time We ordered takeaways , Ribs and a burrito, it was tasty but needed a bit of spice in both the burrito and maybe in thd ribs sauce.

We had 3 types of tacos chicken, fish and pulled beef. Together with a plate of beef nachos. Food delicious topped of with raspberry margaritas. Service excellent will definitely recommend
All up experience was exceptional. Food was amazing, staff were awesome.
Love the menu options and location by the beach! Their food and drinks are amazing and everything came out in great time, definitely recommend the ribs and mojito. The table service was lacking, so could do with some improvements there.
On holiday in Ohope and went for meal. So good we went back again! Friendly service, great menu and delicious flavours. The cocktail jugs and homemade corn chips were a highlight! Highly recommend.
