The manager Greg was lovely enough to wait for us to arrive for spur of the moment break away. We enjoyed a scrumptious Indian takeaway meal from the hotel restaurant when we arrived, the staff had kept the kitchen open for us. The room was great with a comfy bed and modern bathroom. Lovely morning
Food with fine service
Indian food served with manners and perfect timing. Nice and warm on a winter evening. Good music with lots of information about the food from the waiter. The food was so good I ate it rather than remember to take photos.

Very nice rooms, well laid out, spacious, everything you need. And a very modern, deluxe bathroom with spa bath and extra walk in shower. Well working heat pump and comfy bed. Very good value for money. Sunset views too. Very pleasant surprise in this small town.
Awesome place for couples or families. Large, clean rooms with cooking facilities. All sky movie channels! Restaurant serving European or Indian food, lovely food. Had a very nice lunch after a lovely drive around the mountain. A very quiet Tuesday in the restaurent at Headlands Hotel but the staff were most welcoming and we all had a great time. Good food, good service and good company-what more could you want!!!
Headlands Hotel would be the best place to stay in Opunake. The rooms are very well equipped, modern, clean, well maintained and interesting particularly if you are in the tower.
