Came home to Otaki for a couple of weeks. Had seen the cafe in passing a few weeks prior. I had seen a post about the coconut buns on the local Otaki page. I had to try them 😁 Delicious! Especially if you heat them up in the microwave. The mocha was nice but a bit too much hot chocolate over powere
Great service, welcoming staff, excellent Kawhe and Ti (coffee and tea). Fun decor and sunny courtyard. It really is your lounge away from home
Fantastic place, great food, coffee and staff. A really awesome spot for a bite to eat or a cuppa .
The coffee was perfect with the biggest cup, we also got breakfast and it was so delicious full of flavour and perfect portion size. Very happy we pulled off the highway to come for breakfast.
I've been here several times and it is always fantastic. Good prices, lovely food and quick service.

I had the bacon butty for $11, I got soughdough, 2 poached eggs, and 2 slices bacon. Excellent value and service great.
Definitely reminiscent of being in your own living room. Tino reka kai - ya gotta rave over perfectly poached eggs. Fries with mayonnaise, indigenous flavour art, and the best coffee (Karamu) I've bought at a Cafe in years. Well worth heading off the main road.
Green Smoothie and Smashed Avocado was fantastic - definitely worth stopping by if you're in town. Quality food, great service.
