Waited in Otorohanga for a group who were at Waitomo caves. Comfy couches here, great gluten free options in the cabinet. Prices quite high at $15 for a large salad, but generous helping and tasty. Coffee quite weak but good choices of alternative milks.
A lovely cafe, situated across from the Library. It's easy to miss when driving the busy main street, so use the Library as your landmark. Lovely food and coffee and they even have gifts. It's become a regular favourite and they do great salads.
Nice local cafe and eatery located at the Main Street of Otorohanga town center. Decent food and beverage options. Spacious indoor and outdoor seating. Easy street parking.

Had a lovely breakfast here. Plenty of GF options on the menu. Customer service is great and the vibe is very friendly. The food was good and they put effort into plating - I would give that part 4 stars, but their offer, friendliness and the accesibility of the Cafe takes the overall experience to 5 stars.
Went to the other cafe-bar and they took so long to service the customers that I decided to walk and find another place. Luckily I found this O Cafe. Beautiful food, friendly staff and nice and clean place. If you are around...I'd say that's the best option for you. Eggs Benedict and cappuccino were delicious.

The coffee and service were great, and the atmosphere was nice and cozy. The food looked great and was presented very well, but the flavors weren't fantastic. The Salmon Eggs Benedict were a bit bland, and the pancakes had some citrus to them that didn't quite appeal to my personal taste (not to say it was bad). The food was still good, though.
Their pork dumplings is to die for, with the chili soy sauce and chili oil.
Freshly made and great customer service.

Called in today the young lady serving us was awesome I made a couple of changes to a dish to become vegan friendly she was friendly and helpful I was very impressed.

Our tour stopped here so we can get coffee and food. The ladies didn’t stress out with the amount of people coming in to place take away orders. They were calm, friendly, and made our drinks and heated our food quickly.
I ordered one of their Japanese teas, which was really good. I also got their butter chicken pie. One of the couples in my group told me about them and O Cafe is the first time I saw it available.
The ladies knew time was of the essence and asked if we wanted our pies heated in the oven or microwave. I appreciated that because of the tight schedule we’re on. As for the pie - wow! It was my first butter chicken pie and I’ll never forget it. The crust was flaky and the chicken was moist. The butter sauce was yummy. This pie was my gateway pie lol. I knew I had to get butter chicken pie wherever I saw it. I’m addicted and I plan to learn the recipe so I can make it at home.
The cafe has plenty of tables and seats. It’s a casual, welcoming vibe where you can get good food and coffee.
Great food and fantastic service plus the bonus of some toys for keeping little ones entertained.

Had a delicious brunch whilst on a visit to Otorohanga. This brunch rates as high as two of my favourite similar dishes, one in Turangi and the other in Melbourne.
