A beautiful experience. We were driving from Auckland to Taranaki and didn’t want to just have chips or a sandwich. We are a family of five with varied dietary needs. Two of us are completely vegan and it is always hard to find a place that tastes good and caters to all of us.

Absolutely fantastic food. Definitely one of the best Indian dishes I’ve had. Had a Kadhai Chicken Mild and it was perfect spice and the chicken was super tender. The garlic naan was also great.

The food at Tandoor Tavern is always exceptionally delicious, the servings are generous, the staff are lovely, and the service is excellent. It's also one of the only places in town that lets you order online and offers delivery. Highly recommend dining here.
