Awesome spot! So pleased we stopped in. Decor awesome, jukebox music great and the food!!!! Absolutely delicious. Best chicken burger I've ever had. Kids enjoyed their meals and floats too. Reasonably priced and we were served quickly despite it being quite busy.

Driven through Oxford often enough and seen the cafe sign, from outside as you drive past, you just assume it is just another coffee shop. This time we actually stopped as we wanted breakfast/brunch and stepped through the doors into another world. Imagine USA 1950 and 60's, the corner cafe that all the cool kids would hang out at, booths, juke box, etc. That is what we walked into. Yes, they even have a jukebox playing that era music and it wasn't blaring. Service was quick by friendly staff, food was good, milk shakes and smoothie was not watered down as seem common in so many places now, food came quick and had taste. Decor on the wall alone holds your interest as well if you like stuff from that era. Would happily stop in there again. They also sell fresh farm eggs and some of the usual take away stuff like cakes and filled rolls etc.

Good sized, well presented food for the price. The staff seemed like they enjoyed working there. Really good vibe. Stopped there by chance so had no expectations. A nice surprise.

Worth the trip for such a delicious meal. We'll go to Oxford especially in the future as it was so tasty. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The juke box was fun entertainment also. Friendly staff and clean premises. Would recommend!

Decided to take the family to this diner as I’ve been before but my family haven’t. I booked for a group of 7 today (Sunday) at 11:00am and was pleasantly surprised as it was quiet, I expected it to be busier. My group were greeted by the friendly staff and shown our table - every staff member that served us today were lovely, patient and kind. The food was great, we left with a happy chat with the staff members thanking them for the food and service… we drove from Rangiora and had a lovely time! (Milkshakes are great, highly recommend buying one!)

What a find in Oxford - Cruisy Days Diner receives top marks from us! I had eaten at the market so just had a cappuccino and caramel slice. Man that caramel slice was the BEST! Coffee very good. Kids had curly fries - rave reviews from both. Both had milkshakes - chocolate and caramel. All agreed best curly fries and milkshakes since our trip started on 22 Dec. Son had a mini burger - so good my wife had to have one too with her tuti fruity shake. Daughter bit off more than she could chew with the short stack of pancakes.

Delicious breakfast! Would definitely recommend the pancake stack. The butterscotch thickshake was also very tasty, though definitely on the sweet side. There's been a lot of attention to detail with the styling and it was spotlessly clean too. Great find tucked away in Oxford.

What a great wee diner! They have a very authentic-looking American style which is awesome. I only tried their milkshakes but I recommend if you're ever in the Oxford area.
