Excellent Marsala lamb curry with delicious Kashmiri/Peshawari Naan. Tender lamb. Takeaway for one, so food aplenty for a second meal.

Firstly, no real issue with the food. Tasty. But I drop some stars for a few reasons that you need to be aware of. 1st: If order more than one curry, they reduce the amount of rice you get. I rang to query this, asking why you don't get a 500ml container of rice with each large curry and got told "that's not how it works". Now I don't know about you, but everywhere I've ever purchased a 500ml curry has given me a 500ml container of rice. Not a big deal, but you shouldn't change what you do when the national expectation is a 500ml container of rice. 2nd: The Naan is about 50% smaller than the majority of Indian restaurants, however the prices are comparable to other restaurants. 3rd: They let kid run free in the kitchen and waiting area, climbing over the couches and making irritating noises which ruins the general experience. All in all, nice curry, but the service lacks.

Best Indian food I've had in a long while. I have been here several times even though I live some distance away. Pahiatua is lucky to have and keep a restaurant with this high standard of food.

Good food, good service. Atmosphere lacks a lot of culture and cuisine, extremely boring wait for food.

Love to eat here, Great menu and i love the Nepalese twists in the menu. If i was to be a bit critical the servings are way too small for the price, and there is never a kingfisher strong in the fridge, which is a must with a good indian spice. But still i go back... πŸ˜‚

Friendly staff. Tasty food. Menu read better than the food tasted. Not sure about chef wearing his mask that didn't cover nose or mouth (visible thru the glass panel in kitchen door) ....

We stopped here for dinner on our way to Napier and we were pleasantly surprised. The flavours were great and the naan was a great hit with everyone, it was flaky and buttery. Recommend this place if you’re looking for a flavourful Indian meal

It's not bad, definitely better than some places in Palmy. Takeaway an option here too. I'd order again

Service was fabulous, especially the wee boy who played with our son while we were waiting for our dinner- kept him occupied πŸ˜€ Food was great, a bit sweet for what we are used to but still yummy nonetheless. Naan bread was amazing!

Great food, tasty,.. Unfortunately there Indian Kingfisher beers were warm! So had to substitute for a inferior brand. Would definitely dine in again πŸ‘Œ

stopped in on our way to Napier and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food esp. after being in Wellington (curries loaded with sugar, WTAF?!). biryani was mean! Will definitely eat here again.

On a cold rainy night, Red Chillies provided lovely warm food, amazing service, and the best naan bread we've ever had! Highly recommended.
