Had a Yeda Vegetarian Fried Rice and Spicy Korean Pork. Nice food for price. Friendly staff and no needed to wait for food. Clean and tidy space.
The lunch deals are so worth every cent. Customer Service was good, took a while for our food. This is a good place for a big group to eat, their plates are big servings so there is enough to share 😉

Holy heck yes im in love with this place 😁 honestly would highly reccomend. Food and customer service is great also. Prices were also very good, not too cheap but not too dear
Delicious quick cheap food. Been there a few times now and I'm definitely going back. Staff are nice and atmosphere was enjoyable. Plus $15 lunches can't be beaten
Came here for dinner on saturday. Very nice environment and friendly service. At first we were seated by the door and this lovely man (could be the manager) noticed that my sister gets cold everytime the door opens so he moved us further from the door. The food came out very fast and they were quite nice too.
Always popular place for Asian cuisine in palmy, food isn't too shabby well priced, portion sizes could be a little bit bigger, service relatively friendly and consistent definitely would recommend.
This place is one of the best regional NZ Asian restaurants I have eaten at. The food was amazing and the staff were even better. They really seemed to enjoy their job. Atmosphere is very modern. Definitely going back next time in Palmy!
Went out with a group of students for a birthday. There were 12 of us, and we tried booking a table on the friday of the dinner. The staff tried their best to seat us and they did so successfully. The service was great; lots of smiles. By the time they had finished taking the table's order, food was already coming out which was incredible! Food was also very reasonably priced. Cocktails were also delicious. Shared plate and ended up being about $20 for 3 courses and a drink. Will be returning ASAP!
Have been to Yeda at least a half dozen times, with either whole family (6 adults & 1 child) or just my wife, and service/food/drinks were excellent every time. No exceptions.
First time here for dinner, and it was still buzy even though it was nearly 8 pm. We ordered a tom yum fried rice to share and some skewers. the skewers really pretty good I enjoyed the beef ones most. The tom yum fried rice was quite spicy for me but it still tasted pretty good although after a while it started to get a bit too salty. We also ordered a deep fried ice cream and coconut rice with mango for dessert. the coconut rice dessert was not that satisfactory for us but we enjoyed the deep fried ice cream.
Went to Yeda with family last night. It was pretty busy, but despite that we were attended to immediately. The waitress was smiling and took the order straight away. Entrees came in quickly and so did the mains. Chicken teriyaki was yummy. Lemongrass chicken in mains was delicious. Thai roasted chicken was good as well. Overall good food and experience. Will definitely come back.
We've been here 3 times now over the last 3 months, the service is very good, fast and friendly, all of the food was very nice, the prawns are fresh and nicely cooked in all the dishes they come in we've tried a variety, fried rices, nasi goreng, Tom yum, and the prawn wontons are also very nice fried, steamed and in the soup
Went out for dinner with family and food was tasty, fresh and plenty of choice for everyone. We ordered a selection of dishes for all to share which is a good way to eat. Service was good even though they were busy. Good value at $175 for 6 of us including beers (good selection)
Will be back for sure
Me and my partner absolutely loved this place !! It really suited us price wise and the food was amazing, the salmon was a favourite. Definitely recommend to all Asian food lovers like myself - and I am very hard to please. Big thumbs up service, atmosphere, experience and of course food.
Came in with family on a Friday night at 7pm for a quick meal. Was really busy but were seated promptly. So many options on the menu! All of our dishes were perfect (Yakisoba, Thai Chicken, Teriyaki) and the wait staff very friendly. Also very reasonably priced. Was great to see into the exceptionally clean kitchen and watch the chefs at work. Will definitely return and/or order some takeaway soon - keep up the great work guys!
Really lovely restaurant. Love the set up and atmosphere. I love how the kitchen is open, you can see the chefs cooking. The dishes are amazing too. Lots of variety of Asian dishes from south east Asia, Japan and Korea. From the entree, they are really amazing and sizzling hotplate. I love their Pad Thai dish - one of the best. The salads and stir-fry dishes. We absolutely love the coconut jasmine rice with our meals - very tasty and smells divine. All food dishes are very well presented. The staff are amazing, friendly and very efficient.
Great service every time, and we are always welcomed warmly by the owner.
The food is fantastic, well priced and on the table in no time.
We love to eat this way with family and friends, ordering numerous dishes to share.
Went there again this evening and saw that people were having to wait for a table as the place was so busy, however the staff ensured that their wait wasn't too long.
Spotted Ray McVinnie eating at Yeda earlier this year, so that is high praise indeed!
Had dinner last there last night with a group of 12, great service, food arrived promptly, will be going again.
My favourite East Asian option in Palmy. The décor is clean and fresh, the staff are always friendly, and there are loads of options on the menu -- almost too many options! I've never had anything that I didn't enjoy.
It's always a cheap meal, especially on Sundays and Mondays (I think) it's 20% off meals.
The really fast service makes it a good pre-theatre or pre-movie option on Broadway too.
I love this place because it's BYO and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. It's an awesome place to celebrate a birthday party if you've got 20+ people that you'd like to eat out with. The food is amazingly prepared and presented. Such great value for money. If you're looking to save a buck or two, then go on a Sunday or Monday. However, you won't be out of pocket with this place. The food is awesome and well priced.
Great prices and variety. Ordered tom yum soup (asked for it without coconut milk and 'hot') - Was very good. Dumplings and dim sims good, but summer rolls lacked any herbs (e.g. mint / thai basil) so were a little bland. Sweet basil chilli chicken was tasty. Service very friendly and good dining atmosphere.
What fantastic meals at great prices. I don't need a starter next time! I ordered a bento box which was superb. Everything was delicious, especially the chicken.
The food came fast with awesome presentation. Will be back!
We enjoyed a meal here - convivial atmosphere and divine garlic and salt prawns which had a very light tempura batter and cooked to perfection. The chicken katsui was a little oily but very nice. The steamed dumplings and money bags were tasty and the beers cold. The pine tables and light bright ambience is great for this type of communal eating. It was quite expensive compared to many other asian eating places, because the portions are one the small side, so you tend to keep ordering more and more.... but we enjoyed everything we ate and will come back for more. A fun evening especially if you start talking to other diners which is quite appropriate in this setting.
Enjoyable lunch. One younger female staff member in particular was very friendly, polite & well mannered to talk to. I ordered the cashew chicken potato basket which was nice and my mother ordered the pork with asian greens, which was mostly all asparagus & was very hard and crunchy (probably not the best choice for an elderly person with less than average teeth) also bitter. The starters were really good(curry puff, money bags and mini sprigrolls platter) The iced tea is refreshing. We liked it that the cooking is all done in view and you can see the chefs as they make the dishes. The atmosphere was a little noisey. Price ranged from average - high
I come here often and the food is always Delicious! Great prices, they’re fast at cooking so you don’t have to wait long for the food. The sushi and sweet and sour pork is definitely one of my favourites and the Ice Chocolates amazing too. I definitely recommend booking a table because they often get busy.
Had a great time here. Food was great with a good selection of dishes. Awesome service and the food came out really quick. Nice drink menu including cocktails. I would happily eat here again.
Have many Asian countries dishes here. Jac of all trades master of none. Ordered malaysian kweytiau, thai curry. Not really authentic because it has been dialed down. The essence of the taste are there though. Service is good even though there were only 2of them. Food came quick for the 3 of us.
Absolutely outstanding food. We got takeaways and we were so impressed with everything from Yeda. The online menu had our mouths watering. Actually dribbling. Lol. The selection is amazing. The list of dishes just kept scrolling to more and more delicious looking meals. The food was ready so quickly, it was crazy. Every dish was perfect. I don't mean good. Perfect! We ordered way to much food but couldn't stop eating it. The cost of all that outstanding food was under $70.00 Thats 7 different dishes and separated rise. 10/10 ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Highly recommend. We will be back every time we are in Palmerston North.
Food was just awesome. We had prawn sushi, yeda fried rice and sizzling black pepper chicken .Very good staff and beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended.Sunday and monday they are giving 20%off on mains. That was also a wow factor!
Loved the range of options, very quick and the food was delicious and fresh
Delicious food and Good lunch prices.
Have gotten takeaways a couple times but hadn't eaten in until now. A little disappointed in the strawberry daiquiri but you can't have too high expectations for a place like this so that is okay. Exciting choices like the Singapore Sling though. Service was good and food came out extremely fast, we were finished eating about 25 minutes after arriving. Food was great, pork a little overcooked.

We went with a group of 9 and they were wonderful. The man who served us was so kind and polite. Food was super tasty, cocktails and the house sake was amazing 😍 totally recommend
Loved this place! My husband took me there for date night last week and the atmosphere was inviting. It was open, casual and authentic. The drinks were entirely authentic and the food was delicious. We had steam buns and teriyaki chicken skewers for entre, Hong Kong black pepper chicken, Udon noodle, and fried noodles to share. For dessert we tried deep fried ice cream and it was glorious. My mother use to make this dessert when I was a kid so this was incredibly nostalgic for me. You've got to visit this place and try their food. So good!
Great atmosphere, delicious starters and mains, only let down was the poor customer service myself and my group received. Definitely be back for the Japanese cuisine food was 10/10
Came back after 2 months, fantastic service, food was brilliant atmosphere was great. Customer service fantastic 👏 👌 👍.
Yum. Good prices. Exceptional customer service. Satay chicken was so yum. Lots of meat which I like.
The skewer sharing plater was yummy too.
Super friendly staff, ordered three Times Metal for Take away and we were never disappointed. Highly recommended!
Such yummy tasty food. We popped in for the $15 lunch. Entree and a main. Such good value. Highly recommend
