Nice little cafe in the gardens, perfect place for a snack, coffee, or ice cream before exploring the rest of the esplanade area.
The food is seriously good – overall the setting and the food make this a pretty good visit.
But, fair warning, if you're planning to drop by when the sun's shining and everyone's got the same idea, be ready to queue up. The lines can get pretty darn long.
Service? Well, it's a bit of a mixed bag.
Called in for lunch on my way home from work. Pretty busy, but that's to be expected at lunchtime. Fast service given it was busy, friendly staff members and the food arrived at an expected speed for that time of the day.
Food was nice, enjoyed my experience overall.
Came in for lunch, had the beef burger and corn fritters. The food was average for the price we paid for it. There are many other places you could go for a nicer lunch. Have been here many times for the coffee and drinks and have been pleased every time. Coffee is always great. Staff were happy and
Got Americano and a slice for afternoon tea ! Great atmosphere during the summer time. Also serves tip top and kapati ice cream on the other side.
Tried the waffle and it is not worth $16.90 for a flat stale chewy waffle .... cheese scone was dried and chewy as well. Recommend just a morning tea he
Great food, excellent coffee, understandably popular and busy - yet phenomenally prompt service after ordering. Whatever their systems are - other cafes could learn a lot.
Such an awesome location with a wonderful selection of cabinet food. One of our group ordered off the brunch menu and was very impressed. The staff were friendly and hospitable.

The customer service is warm and friendly. Wide variety of food choices in beautiful surroundings. The Eggs on Toast was a huge portion (we added hashbrowns) Really enjoyed our dining experience 👌🏽

Quaint but very busy. The ideal spot for coffee and cake after a walk through the park
