What an awesome place. Thank you so much to the team working here. Absolutely delicious pizza and my first ever Tiramasu. Your large Il Capo pizza was so full of toppings that the flavour almost destroyed my senses. By far the best pizza I've ever had. Thank you again.
The best restaurant for cabonara and pizza. We will definitely be back as the best food in Palmerston north. Great prices.
Totally enjoyable experience. One that will stick with me. The pasta Al polo? Chicken. Wow. Wow wowsers. You will not find a better pasta. Easy parking. Nice outside seating. Nice indoor Italian theme. A must when you are in palmy.
The food was delicious without a doubt. Pizza toppings right up to the edge which is great. Wasn't too sure about ordering and paying first at the counter but that's a personal preference. Decor a little dated. Staff were very friendly and appeared very efficient.
Shop was nice and clean. Staff member was very pleasant and helpful.Had the spaghetti and was very good and tasty(but not as good as mine). Garlic pizza was tasty. Would definitely try again
Il Capo means 'The Boss,' for good reason. Their pasta and pizza are consistently king of the hill.

This lil place in sumner hill can actually take all my money! Their food is outstanding and the portion sizes and beyond generous. Cooked to perfection and service was very lovely! People who say otherwise don’t have valid opinions😘
Love this place! The pizza is always well stocked with topping and taste great. The price is fantastic for the value. The service is always fast and friendly. Only wish they had more pizza options.

I was really impressed at the food at Il Capo. Both the pizza and the pasta that we ate were remarkably good. Definitely this cafe has the best Italian food in Palmerston North. Superb pizza, just went for the most popular one Il Capo. Very nice size is decent. They have the size of the plate on the wall so it's easy to decide.
Spaghetti is average, enjoyable.
Not sure about the Lasagna, definitely wasn't a kiwi-style one. Didn't work for me personally.
Stopped here for a break on a long journey. Best pizza I have ever eaten. Very friendly and efficient staff. If you like pizza and your en route between Hawke's Bay and Wellington give this place a try you won't be disappointed.
Don't want to give you a bad review as your pasta was delicious, but the quantity has gone way down and the prices up. I don't mind pay a bit more but not for who seems a lot less food.
