It's certainly disappointing compared to last time. The fish was dry and tasteless, I would have rated it at 2.5, but that is not an option. It is really difficult buying good fish and chips in PN.
Awesome takeaways, crispy fresh batter and chips cooked perfectly. Served on a tray in a bag so they don't sweat like wrapped fish and chips 😊 sweet and sour pork is the best in town and the smorgasbord range is define.
Great takeaway meals. Huge range. I get fish and chips with a pineapple fritters. Worth a visit.
The food is pretty good
but when my partner ate some of the sweet and sour, he found a piece of plastic in it when he took a bite so he avoided it and ate the rest of his food.
Annie's takeaways is a favourite among the locals. Their prices are pretty affordable. Phone orders are probably reccomended as it can get pretty busy. Our favourite is the fish bites and a scoop of chips, pretty good quality. There are quite a big variety of items on the menu including Chinese and
it’s good it’s quick, just ring up ready in 15 min, looks clean and tidy. self serve food available, little bit greasy but that’s what you’re there for right!

Good flakey fish & good amount of chips. The Chinese meals not good. I think this is the first takeaway I've had spring roll deep fried in batter; which I hate as no crunchy skin on the spring roll.
I got my fish n chips with sausage and large spring roll included for only $9.50. Overall taste was pretty nice. Good thing is it's one of few takeaways with less oil in their fish n chips. Haven't tried other menus yet. Store was also very clean and had on road parking lot.

I know pies and pies know me. This is the best 👌 fresh pie shop in New Zealand 🇳🇿 . Friendly, fast stop, fresh made daily. Solar powered to boot. DEFINITELY stop here!
Was surprisingly good. They run a very good operation there. Seems that all fish is battered just before cooking and there Chinese food selection looks pretty good too. Probably the best Fish n Chips I have had in Palmerston North. Definitely recommend!
Food here is amazing! Everything a man/woman would want. Even has some really good Chinese stuff.
