Loved the chicken satay in rice I ordered!
Super cheap, big portions!
The Satay sauce was nice and creamy which made it too easy to eat the rice and for the price you get heaps of chicken!!
We absolutely love the broths from the 2 noodle dishes we ordered - chicken+beef & beef brisket.
I really like my soup (chicken+beef) and how it tasted so homely. Usually soups from eateries are full of msg that leave me thirsty but this one doesn't! The sweet and savory balance was on point. To be honest, I think their broth is better than the wonton soup I had at blossom court down the street. However, the beef slices were abit too chewy for my liking so this is probably the downside of this dish.
My husband love his beef brisket too! He said that the broth is packed with flavour and the beef was very tender.
Flavoursome lunch + generous portions + good service + supporting family-run eatery + reasonable price = definitely going back again + highly recommended! :)
Was our first visit here and definitely not the last. A very clean little restaurant. We ordered Satay burgers (highly recommended) cha kueh tiaw and Panang Chicken curry. The Panang curry was more gravy than meat. Was like eating a very thick soup full of flour. The ambience was nice so we will return and try other dishes.
Great service from a friendly face. Nice to have some Dunedin favourites up here in Auckland. Classic beef satay and burger always goes down a treat.
Nice and clean place, friendly owner. I tried cambodian fried noodle, chicken satay and pad thai, all taste nice with their own style.
The cambodian noodle will have best taste when I add the chilli sauce, chicken satay nice with the pickle, pad thai would be best with chilli powder and soy sauce that enhance the taste.
I come here for their chicken noodle soup! And beef noodle soup. The base has so much flavour, and the servings is huge. Come here for your noodle soup cravings
My love to this Satay house dates waaaay back when they use to operate in Dunedin. I was sooo excited to see him finally made his way up to Auckland. Familiar face familiar taste and the familiae friendly hospitality!
Their chicken noodle soup is to die for, so as their satays. Home made Satay with smoky flavours, comes with pickled vegetables. So refreshing. The Mee Goreng was also delicious! Can't wait to go back again and again to try everything!
Best noodles in Auckland! I really love their spicy Singapore Noodles. The lovely people who run the place have moved up from Dunedin where they had a similar restaurant. Originally from Cambodia so very authentic Asian food.
Finally in Auckland! Wow I can't believe it. Same taste as the Dunedin joints! Best satays in town and at a reasonable price. I will be back probably once a week at least.
I have had 2 delicious meals here. We had spring rolls and roti and satay sauce for starters and pork chop on rice and massuman curry for mains. Everything was very tasty and fresh and portions are very generous. Staff are very friendly. Will definately be going back again. Oh and the mango lassie drink was very nice too. Thank you for a lovely meal!
We had our first experience at Panmure Satay Noodle House last night and it was fantastic. The owner is Cambodian, super friendly and really passionate about his food. The nasi lemak was something he is extra proud of, and he should be. The rendang was absolutely perfect. Definitely felt like a nasi lemak you’d get in KL. We also tried the Singapore fried noodles which was one of the best we’ve had in Auckland - the meat ratio was great. Can’t wait to go back and try out the rest of the menu. Portion sizes are really good and the price is really fair. Definitely recommended.
This restaurant is definitely a nice hidden gem in Auckland. It's only been open for a few months, but I've found myself coming here often. The owners are extremely friendly and the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone!

We often go to this place. We always order the Kuy Teav (Cambodian Soup) and Beef Brisket Noodle Soup. Their Chicken and Wonton is also good, sustained me while I was sick.
Uncle Sam is also very friendly and nice. Eventhough we live far away, we travel the distance just to eat his food. I would highly recommend this restaurant and support the business. 😊
I like to revise my review. Visited the restaurant two years later, I like to say the owner has definitely put effort into the restaurant. They focused on the complaint I have made. It's now a place I like to take my kids in, a place I m not afraid to invite my family. A place I highly recommend. The following were the review two years ago::::::The noodle soup base was good, but the chicken and crab stick on it was off last time I visited. This time they stir fried the chicken so it's tender, but mask the soup base. Soup because salty and greasy. What a shame.
Such a lovely owner Sam, and his aunty. Beautiful food. Awesome Shrimp Pad Thai. Tasty and generous portion.
Great service and delicious food. I had 2 of their satay burgers and they were simple, but delicious. Would highly recommend coming here and supporting them.
Lovely owner/head chef Sam always lovely to see people coming in.
Food is amazing, everything I have tried as been as good as the last one.
Absolutely beautiful food , lovely people.
SAM makes the greatest Satay Chicken burgers
Had some of the best Cambodian food a man could get outside of Cambodia. Sam is an excellent chef and great man. I completely recommend this place and is worth the outing. Can't fault a single thing. Thanks for a great meal 😋
Have come here for about 5 years & I'm in competition with the guy who say he was the first customer; support a local Cambodian business owner & get yummy food while you're there.
Possibly the best fried rice in East Auckland. All the flavours are nice but beef with cashew is
my favourite. Come here all the time and consistent quality
I ordered Pad Thai, stay skewers and chips and was my first time here but my god it was amazing. I loved it so much that I couldn’t get to take a photo of it. But I’m very impressed and now a regulars customer
Had to write a review for this place! I got the chicken satay fried rice, and it was delicious, plenty of sauce and great flavour. This was well worth the drive from takanini! Great treat for myself, and the owner is so welcoming and genuine. If you're around the area definitely check it out! Thanks again 🙂
