Really great place for good takeaways! We have to drive a bit to get there, but we do for the quality.
Shang Lee would have to be the best Chinese takeaway in New Zealand! Their smorgasbord selection is amazing, and their food is reasonably priced and of a very high standard. The only problem being, once you have experienced Shang Lee cuisine you won't like any other Chinese takeaway.
The meals were really good but the price is very expensive but where ever you go to other places now for meals it is very expensive kind Regards Peter
This has always been my favorite takeaway bar. I revisited to see if their smorgasbord menu was on. Unfortunately it was on hold till further notice. So I ordered a steak chow mein, a combination meats fried rice and honeyed chicken. Absolutely beautiful..its like we never left.

Smorgasbord service we took our time choosing our dishes. A wide variety and choice and the black bean sauce dishes are a favourite. Vegetables were fresh, meat tender dishes. Would frequent again for the great food and staf

Our favorites are nasi goreng, fried rice and chow mein. Their meat & veg ratios are higher than carbs, so definitely they have good options for someone who loves lowcarb meals

My new favourite place to go. Sooooo many options to choose from. The food is absolutely delicious. Portion sizes are quite big.
You can chose to fill your own tray or purchase off the menu and take away. I will be back!
