Just had 2 different lots of catering done for 2 work functions and we were all really impressed, food was fresh, delicious and nicely presented. Definitely will be using The Village Cafe again. Thanks so much :-)

Saturday market 9.00am - 12.00pm you never know who you might see. Great buskers music too
Lovely breakfasts there for the time we were working up north. They also know how to make a great cup of tea. Meal kept us going until early afternoon when we headed back for lunch.
Nice little cafe, had a very good birthday lunch there with a group of friends. I think we all had finger food that day, but they had a board menu as well, which sounded pretty tasty.
The best source dough bread but you need to be there early on a Saturday morning or order the day before. . A delightful surprise so far out in the country.

The main seating area is a dominated by a spectacular and massive painting of a ghostly cattle stampede that just arrests you as you walk in for the first time. It's so incongruous and unexpected that at first you do

It's a cute little stop with a couple of very interesting shops an excellent walk and a gastro pub. Well worth the stop.
