Always come for the ribs! I try a medium rare ribeye steak, but it's overcooked, something between medium-well done, not my luck maybe. Other than that, the ribs is a must try. And beer of course. Not really crowded, but book in advance is always recommended.
Food was good, good potion and it was a birthday dinner we have even been offered a free dessert for the birthday star. Service was as good as to be expected. Our desserts has been delayed due to lack of staffs and we were nearly left without the desserts.
Food was good! My son enjoyed his meal (finally found something he loved) and the battered fish and chips were spot on. The portion size is huge and I couldn’t finish my plate (had to leave room for dessert).

The food is delicious but over the years the quantity and recipes have definitely changed. The quantity definitely has gone down but the quality and taste only getting better. A beautifully decorated bar and restaurant with a range of well-cooked tasty foods. The portion of main meals and the size of cocktails are the largest I've ever seen in such restaurants. We loved our moment there.
Lone Star is a great place to go, friendly and relaxed. My reduction in stars is purely based on quality and price. The meals are well cooked and taste fine, but the price of the meals feel like they should be another step up.
I would (and likely will) still go back though!
Bloody mint, loved my food and drinks and had a good date with my boyfriend. Appreciate the call button instead of having to look around for staff like an idiot. Food came out fast as well.

Such an awesome place, the food is always delicious & came out so quick, the staff are friendly and warm , literally all of them we spoke to made us feel so welcome. I also asked for a booth as I’m pregnant & they accomodated this. Such a great place 5/5 🧡
There was not much open on public holiday but so glad we happened upon Lone Star. Loved our meal could not fault it. We had ribs x8 and lamb both were delicious. The staff were so friendly and had a very enjoyable time.
My husband and I were very impressed that all 16 meals came out at the same time and the meals were devine especially given it was Saturday night and the restaurant was full. The service was top notch by all the staff but Eden in particular was great. We will be back.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
