We visited Simply Indian Petone yesterday for lunch, the lady who served us was really lovely. Quite a few people already dining in the restaurant when we got there which I took to be a good sign. The food was really good, all four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Great prices for their lunch
Had a Lamb Saagwhala and it wasn't too bad. Good value and plenty of meat, rice and the naans were a good size. Service was quick, but it was quiet. Nice sunny position too. Definitely return for lunch again.
Second visit and there will certainly be more. Food here is fabulous with great portion sizes. Lunch specials worth every cent. Curry, rice and ma'am $11.50.
Went there with few friends and we had little time to dine because of closing time and the waitress was really nice about she wasn't rushing to close or us. The food was actually really nice.
The most delicious food, reasonable prices & wonderful staff make this an excellent choice for lunch or dinner. Their Mango Chicken is out of this world but every dish we've had has been delicious 😁
Had the goat curry and it was Devine. The meat melted in my mouth and the rice was cooked to perfection. Not to mention the delicious naan bread...definite repeat.
Good place. Nice curries although a bit hotter than expected for a "kiwi hot" at lunch so keep that in mind when ordering.
