Probably the best gluten free shop I've ever been in. So many gluten free products! They also make loads of fresh food like pies, quiches, cakes, and pastries. We had a pie heated up for us which was delicious. The staff were super friendly too. Literally everything in the shop is 100% gluten free
What a gem Petone is very lucky to have this business. I have never been into a bakery with such a large range of gluten free delights. We had custard squares donuts and pies. The owners were helpful and knowledgeable. Can't wait to visit this place again you are very lucky Wellington.

I’ve been in NZ for a month and finally got to have my first meat pie :) amazing crust texture, delicious filling! I understand why they have GF signs all over the shop - it’s hard to believe when it’s this good!!
Love this place! Have visited a few times on trips to Wellington. Absolutely awesome fresh gluten free food. Heaven on a plate for a coeliac. Always craving their custard squares! A great selection of international gf goodies in their retail section. Also able to order my treats online no problem at

What a find. This place is a treasure for the gluten-free. I buy things for my brother here as he is coeliac. Great service. Wish you guys were in Central Wellington. Pies and donuts are amazing.
Great cafe and bakery for anyone not just the gluten free amongst us. Can recommend the GF Xmas mince pies.
Sooooo exciting to have somewhere where everything is GF! Such a good variety of gluten free food - treats, larder essentials, savoury treats, cakes! Amazing gluten free food and the lady working there was so lovely. I would really recommended getting the caramel slice and the tan slice!!!
Vanilla birthday cake with chocolate icing was an absolute crowd pleaser with the classic taste of your grandma’s cake. Very impressive they were able to make the cake so light and fluffy purely gluten free! Highly recommended. We were lucky enough to get one freshly cooked - next time we’ll see if
