A delicious experience! We had a bacon & egg pie, and a mince & cheese pie for breakfast - both with a good amount of filling and perfectly flaky/chewy pastry. We also had yesterday's sandwiches to take on a walk for lunch- the bread was still soft and there was a generous amount of ingredients. So good, highly recommend for anyone passing through Picton!

Came across this on our walk down to the shops. Really good pie. My partner had bacon and egg pie and I had steak and cheese pie. Mocha was really nice too

First time we came by they were closed already. Went back early morning the next day. Bought some pies and bread. I generally prefer crusty pies whereas theirs is a little more bodied. The filling is running when cut and flavourful.

This bakery sure lives up to its reputation, balancing very tasty food with quality prices. We purchased two of their quality pies and 3 sweet things for roughly $20. Both pies were super tasty, well better than most competitors at the same price. Their traditional Dutch food, while sparse also tasted particularly good. Service was a amazing and plenty of selections to be had.

Second time in shop within 2 months. 1st time, when arriving on South Island, missed the display of fresh made NZ Meat Pies. Great pastries both times.

Had the steak and blue cheese pie, not overly powering which I prefer. And I find the price cheap, compared back in Sydney.

Best pies and baking in the wider Picton area. Staff are friendly and interact with customers. Had a delish cheese roll and lemon donut.

Best pie EVER - Steak and blue cheese had it two days in a row - massive chunks of steak with melting blue cheese - please see photo for reference, will remember this moment for a lifetime. Highly recommend, Namaste. #cancelledferry

Meat pie galore. Lots to choose from and pastries and other sweets and coffee to finish all. Long lines during lunchtime but other times are in and out.

Stopped in for a steak n cheese pie but saw all the pies had been sold out, spoke to the lovely lady behind the counter and told her it was our last day before heading back to Auckland, she then handed us a free baguette and a bag of other yummy pastries, bought some other goodies aswell, thank you.

We saw this bakery while driving around Picton and stopped for breakfast. The selection was great and the staff was friendly. We got meat pies, breakfast sandwiches, and the focaccia and all were tasty. I'd definitely recommend this spot!

Large selection of tasty Dutch influenced treats and pastries etc. Tried a range of items, little doughnut type bun with lemony custard which was amazing melt in your mouth texture. The Cherry pie cake tart was also incredible. Left the place a few KGs heavier.

A delightful place with epic food and lots of perfect pies to choose from! I don't like being charged extra for sauce, but everyone does it so I can't really fault them for that. I can't afford to eat all of my meals here everyday, but I would be fat and happy if I could. :-) Go check it out for yourself! Delicious. . .

Decent priced coffee and other goodies. Can't recommend the sausage rolls enough $3.20 and pastry is to die for.
