We had sth dine in and spicy beef take away. Gosh they are giant portions and just so fresh and delicious.
Not bad in terms of portion and price but the taste was just okay. Their free soup was an extra bonus tho, very tasty.

Excellent chinese restaurant on the shore, which should be more popular, we’ve only just discovered them as they are a little bit tucked away in rosedale. The place is well decorated and very clean (unlike other chinese restaurants!).
Excellent service - really friendly and we were well attended to; and excellent food!! Tasty and generous portions. Everything we have tried so far (6dishes) have been great, the highlights out of the 6 we tried would be the fried squid, prawn balls, and sizzling beef steak, which was so tender and flavoursome. All the vege dishes were great too.
Highly recommend it to anyone!
Came here to celebrate an early mid-autumn festival with the family. The staff here are SO welcoming and friendly - almost like a back at home feel.
The serving portions were very big and as usual, we had enough to take home for another meal. Most Chinese restaurants will give you a complimentary soup and some fruit to finish off the meal with. One of my favourite foods to get here is the 鱼香茄子 (Fish and Eggplant Pot) and for special celebrations, we get the crayfish with noodles 龙虾意面.
There is plenty of parking around the side of the restaurant, and absolutely no reason not to come here.
We came here looking for some congee as I had just fallen sick and congee is well-known to be the ultimate Chinese sick food.
We got the Fish Fillet & Preserved Egg Congee (鱼片皮蛋粥) and Chicken Fried Rice Noodle with Egg Gravy (滑蛋鸡河).
We got a complimentary soup with carrots, red bean, lotus root and was a perfect starter for a winter meal. The congee was delicious with an abundance of fish and egg, the bowl was almost overflowing! We were shocked at the size of the noodles as we only paid around $16 for that plate but it was certainly enough to feed two people as a meal on its own. We paid $28.60 and ended up taking half of the meal home, amazing value for money.
Service was so friendly, we got so many smiles that night from everyone who served us and passed by us.

Authentic chinese cuisines, staff are very friendly and the service is excellent , tasty food with ample parking space, one of my favorite place to dine.
My family and I love this place, we dine here whenever we don’t feel like cooking at home. Food is always delicious and service is so friendly and amazing. Environment is clean and tidy and prices are reasonable, not too expensive.

This is THE BEST VALUE chinese restaurant / quick bite over the shore. Period.
Stir fry dishes on rice taste can varies on the days but their BBQ pork and roast duck and pork are consistently great everytime.
Tried dinner once and it was good but boy their lunch menu value just blow everyone else out of the water.
Let me warn you now. Don't come in with high expectations for high standard food. If you get it, great! If not, at least the value side balance all the negatives.
A very lovely place to have dinner. Food is very authentic and 'tis place is highly competitive with all other Chinese restaurants out there. Would definitely recommend this place a go if you're looking for options for Chinese cuisine in Albany.

Stopped in here for lunch. We had the Singapore Noodles and the Eggplant and Pork. Both were delicious, the eggplant especially.
Staff were friendly and there's plenty of parking.
Tip. Afterwards, pop next door to the bakery for a superb cream puff, made with fresh cream and custard...drool

A decent place for cheap lunches around Rosedale. I always end up getting the cumin beef on rice and my mate tries the other options in their $10 mains. Service is sometimes slow and placing an order on the phone can sometimes get very difficult.
Had 'takeaway' lunch the other day.. We enjoyed spring rolls, BBQ pork and pork dumplings! Only negative was the pork was very fatty! Everything was yummy and tasted fresh!
My wife and have been eating here since it opened a few months ago and it has become a firm favourite. As a new premises it is impeccably clean, the ambience though is some what lacking. But, hey, it's a Chinese restaurant, no confusion there. It's the great food and excellent service that keeps bringing us back. The selection is broad with a few unusual items, a strong seafood influence, which is always fresh, along with the standards that are all well done. The produce used is always fresh and of hi quality and the servings very generous, prepared with obvious competency and some flare. Given the portion sizes it is also excellent value.

The place was not full after 7pm on a Sunday. Have to wait our friends to arrive, they served the usual Chinese tea and free soup. The orders came quickly at our table, all were full and satisfied. We will be back sooner as the food were reasonably priced. NZ Covid 19 protocols were observed and followed.
Typical Chinese restaurant with a large variety of items on their menu, large portion sizes for the price and quick service. Their Peiking duck is good but isn't the best - the meat is better at bbq noodle house - the 2nd course bean sprouts with leftover duck meat was excellent though. Still worth going back to.
