🌞 = 🍺 I was finally able to visit the world famous 🌎 in New Zealand πŸ‡³πŸ‡Ώ Puhoi Pub Hotel & Stables It was such a hot 🌑day and the beer went down great πŸ™‚ It's the perfect πŸ‘ place for small πŸ‘₯ or large groups πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘§πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ They have a kitchen that serves some great pub food πŸ˜‹ I was a little disappointed πŸ™ about the limited beer choices for such a big place. They didn't have Radler, or Tiger Low carb. Although their own tap beer 🍺 was quite satisfying 😌 Parking πŸš—πŸš“ is also quite limited. I went on a weekday late morning. I haveno idea where people are going to park on busy weekend πŸ™ƒ

Delicious food, friendly staff & nice outdoor vibe (+dog friendly - dogs must be on lead which is great for my dog🐢). We came here on a weekday afternoon. We had the vegetarian pizza and the squid, recommend both dishes!! Love how you go and grab your own food from the kitchen, real homely. Cool spot, nice drive from Auckland & a cute little store across the road too.

Always a pleasure to visit here. Everything about it is just so relaxing and enjoyable. Good menu to choose from whilst sitting in the huge outdoor area. Inside is filled with gems from the past such a hive of history from the a world ago. Well worth a visit in fact a must.

Didn’t expect that the inside is full of character and we loved it! Simple yet tasty meals were served. Not too bad for a small lovely town! Service was good and staff were friendly. Wasn’t serving coffee that day because coffee machine was broken, not their fault though. Otherwise, a unique dining experience for us.

Excellent food and local beer. Highly recommend beef nachos (mild spice), cheeseburger, and calamari. Pizza is thin crust, tasty but I prefer doughy type. Service is tops and really worth having a beer and soaking in the history if you are not up for food

Puhoi Pub is a great stop for a bite to eat on the way up to Northland, and it regularly has a band playing in the weekend’s My partner and I had a Cheese Bacon Burger and chips and it was a beautiful homemade patty with a big rasher of bacon and fresh lettuce and sliced tomatoes. The chips were crinkle cut and cooked to perfection. There is plenty of BBQ tables all with large market umbrellas for shade. The service was excellent and the old decor was like stepping back to the 1800s What I found awesome was the quests would write on a currency note from NZ or from the country they were from and pin it to the inside walls of the pub soo cool

Great pub food including breakfast types of food. I had the corn fritters which were delicious. Great atmosphere with a band playing often on weekends & nice kayaking adventure just around the corner.

What a fabulous day and stay! I brought my Aunty and Mum to Puhoi so my Aunty could gift some family rosary beads to the museum. Totally underestimated Puhoi and the pub. After a morning learning about our family heritage we spent the afternoon enjoying drinks, delicious food and live music at the Puhoi pub. What an awesome place with so much character, history and did I mention the good old fashioned service! We all enjoyed our meals and then returned to our gorgeous, clean rooms just upstairs. $140 for a double room, so affordable and well worth it. Can't wait to return with the rest of my family!

Why I loved this place? Tucked in a quiet gully among native bush and birds is the quaintest pub preserved. Now frequented by tourists, motorbike clubs and the occasional out-of towner. Lovely seating outside on a sunny day. Full of memorabilia and photos of Puhoi pioneering. Definitely worth a visit!

This hotel would have to be one of the finest in New Zealand. Quirky, and full of absolute treasures, they even have an Irish Dog Carrier.. lol... lots to see and a very pleasant place to sit, listen to great music, and see lots of awe inspiring people. 10 stars deserved. A must visit, true treasure of NZ.. β™‘β™‘β™‘
