Literally love this place! It’s super healthy, tastes super fresh and the staff are great I can be quite fussy and the staff are very accomodating to that. Definitely keep coming back
Staff are awesome here and really know what’s going on. The meals are quite large and the restaurant is decorated really well. Love the taco salads on a Monday!
Delicious Takeaway Mexican food, a nice change from the usual burger or fish and chips takeaway option. It always tastes fresh and at least a little bit healthier. The quesadillas are my favourite.
I absolutely love this place. I always come here to get takeaway meals. I order online, get taco salads for me and my wife. The restaurant is always clean. Staff always friendly and happy. And the food is amazing. Plus they have their own rewards card called "cabana club" which accumulates points faster than it competitors. Awesome.
I come here for the food, it's always tasty & fresh. The staff however could do with further training in terms of customer service & greeting customers. The owner is lovely, always welcoming and full of smiles! The staff could learn a thing or two from him
Ate here for lunch today was yummy ! Love mexacali never fails and staff are lovely too. So addicting could eat every day if it was healthy and cheap enough :)
I love Mexicali Fresh! The decor rocks! The food is usually always pretty good, well I like it anyway! I haven't been let down by the food itself here once and I've made a few visits since it opened and enjoyed them all. I wouldn't recommend take-away as by the time you get home the chips are soggy and the melted cheese has gone a bit hard (not Mexicali's fault, its just the kinda food you gotta eat fresh)
No it's not real Mexican food and it doesn't try to be or say it is - it's "Cali" Mex.
I haven't found an authentic Mexican restaurant in NZ yet although apparently there may be one in Mt Wellington....
We have been to Mexico and love real Mexican food, but I also love Mexicali Fresh or Californian-Mexican.
Have been here several times - the food is very fresh which can account for slow service - it's made as you order it to your liking.
The staff are lovely - awesome decor - check out the cool toilets!
The burritos are as good as a lot of burritos I have had in California.
The prices are good - there's a free space invader machine for the kids.
The churros (Mexican doughnuts) are pretty close to perfect to...
Been here twice. The food is great. Fresh and tasty. The staff however didnt really know what they were doing. I ordered a salad exactly as it read off the menu and she proceeded if make something else. I had to stop her, then she got annoyed at me for her own misunderstanding but ended up serving a mix mash of two different salads. I'll be going back because it's yum!!

I came to order at the door today with my friends we ordered mostly burgers, like a great American and BBQ beef burger, omg were they so yum or what, absolutely loved it!!! The tall brunette girl who works there served us, she was so polite and helpful great customer service!, I believe she also made our burgers!
Will definitely be coming back again!
Highly recommend this place, the lady who I assume is the manager (young pacific island or Maori woman) is bubbly and has the best customer service of any food place I’ve ever been to.. lovely and actually knows about allergens. She managed to make everything dairy free and explain / understood the allergens. Wasn’t annoyed at all! And the food was delicious but to be honest the highlight was her service. We will definitely be back
In these COVID times a quality takeout helps maintain one's sanity - this little gem serves up giant burgers, beautiful wraps with loads of healthy fillings to chose from and THE BEST kumara chips I've ever tasted! I craved those chips for a whole week before I allowed myself to go back. Honestly I don't know how they do it, but those chips are crispy all around the outside, soft and sweet on the inside and with gorgeous caramelized bits in-between. The staff are friendly and helpful, maintaining the appropriate safety precautions whilst serving up fantastic family meals.
I had outstanding customer service from Jules. The food is amazing and a great atmosphere on the whole. Jules, you will never know just how much your kind gesture brought some light into what was otherwise a really dark and difficult time. I highly recommend this place

Most awesome Wisconsin Burgers ever! Great service, friendly, helpful staff. Couldn't fault it. Certainly worth driving past Burger Fuel Takanini to get the best burgers at Pukekohe. Tops!!!
First time having a burger Wisconsin. Loved it . Will definitely be back . My partner and son had tacos and loved them . Staff are super good and made up a meal for my 3yr old . Highly recommend 👌
Love the food here, staff and funky and food is, well, Fresh! The Taco Salad bowl thing is great. Hot sauce options appreciated also. Music used to be good also.

It's never busy when I go in, it's a relaxed and quiet atmosphere with delicious range of meals. Can't wait to try the new burgers :)

Service is amazing, all servers were so friendly ☺️ Dinner was also great - highly recommend the pulled pork loaded fries - these are amazing! Churros are also so yum! Would definitely recommend the Pukekohe Mexicali Fresh!
Great service and some awesome helpful and friendly team members. Excellent weekly specials. Tasty food. I can definitly recommend trying anything with jackfruit in it. Delicious :-) I'm a Mexicali fan.
