We stopped here on our way through for a quick coffee and morning tea. The two coffee were good and strong. Plus they do a large which I appreciate. The food we had was nice. My breakfast muffin could have been heated a bit more. The cheese scone was one of the best that my hubby has had.

A very enjoyable lunch in a refreshing and relaxing atmosphere. The decor is simple and adequate, but needs that rocking table sorted! 😁. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they appeared to take pride in where they were and what they did. They have great gluten free options that are coeliac safe and the iced coffee was delicious. We thought this place was one of the best cafes we've visited in a long time and will happily visit again when we come through this town. Thanks very much.

Called into the Cow Cafe for an early lunch, poached eggs on toast and a flat white a couple of weeks back. Food and coffee came out quick time, eggs cooked perfectly btw. Coffee good. Thanks for the service, I left replete and headed on my way home. Unsure of the negative reviews for the Cow Cafe in Putaruru, guess there is no pleasing some folk 🤷‍♀️. Cheery

Our favorite local Cafe! So awesome having a great Cafe close by in our home town. Good accessibility for my 92 year old Nana, and she loves the sweet treats. We love the breakfast offerings and lways a generous serving of bacon too.

We had lunch at the Cow cafe today with my 92y old mother. She asked especially for crispy bacon and toast. She was sooooo pleased with her crunchy bacon which was cooked to perfection. My lunch was also very nice. Thanks very much. I enjoyed it heaps. Cheers, Pat Garrett

Thanks for being open Easter Fri. Stopped in for hot drinks on our way through to Auckland. Nice little cafe, huge menu and decent well priced cafe food. Good coffee only complaint is cappuccino was pretty much a flat white with choc on top not frothy milk like i expect with a cappuccino but still pleasant to drink :)

This cafe serves nice home made food and really good coffee. To top it off, within a couple of visits, the staff knew our coffee order off by heart and this is no mean feat as my wife's order is very complicated.
