My hubby and I had dinner here, such a beautiful, tender, delicious eye fillet steak meal, and the lamb shank meal melts in your mouth. Highly recommend a visit here. Friendly staff and awesome chef are very welcoming. Looking forward to going back again. Well done guys 😃👍

New Owners, New Chef! Fantastic meal tonight (Sat 16/9) that was spur of the moment. Chef was able to make my meal Gluten Free easily for me. The steak was cooked to perfection with the right amount of seasoning, the veges lovely and the chimichuri sauce was devine!!!! We will definitely be back 😋

Yum! Was passing through Putaruru and needed to fuel the stomach. I was looking for something low carb/keto, and The Cook definitely delivered! I ordered the The Ultimate Bunless Burger, and my bf ordered the Lord of the meats pizza. Friendly service and and great food! Thanks!

We didn’t take any photos because we loved the food so much we wolfed it all down quickly. We ordered the lamb shank and bunless veggie burger, the cheese burger and fish of the day. All are very nice and the staff are super friendly. Highly recommended

We've been here a few times for the trivia quizzes but most recently for dinner with friends from overseas, we were all impressed by the warm welcome from the staff and the excellent service. Can't t fault the food, was all delicious, steak was cooked to perfection. Staff were attentive. It was a relaxing atmosphere. Would recommend the food hands down.

What an awesome night we had! Our matre d was so helpful, going above and beyond by going to the bottle store to purchase the drink that I requested - which they usually serve but were out of stock - and our meals were excellent! We chose something that wasn't on the menu that we have had from there

Fantastic dinner at the Cooks tonight. Roast dinner ... 2 meats with all the trimmings! 3 courses for $27 each person.. Warm cosy restaurant . Meal was mega delish! Superb service..... And no dishes to clean up after. Come on u Dads.. give Mum a break. Get a group together and rock up from 5pm on

Excellent Food. Took the kids out for dinner as my wife was away. The kids were so full they didn't even ask for dessert. It was hard to pick what to order as there were sooo many good options to pick from.

Had a meal for eight lastnight and every meal was top notch and very reasonably priced. Will certianly be eating there again on out own or with friends.
