Cute little Latin American joint in the middle of Queenstown. Not many seats (and mostly outdoor seating) but very good ambience and service!
The vegetarian tacos and arepas were good, the nachos were okay (strange mix of veggies) and the cheese sticks were winners for our group. Ordered another round, 😋
Not sure I would return for the veggie versions but maybe the meat dishes are better!
best latin american food i’ve ever had. just beautiful.
all the flavours are spot on. very tender pork on that cubano. burrito is not mushy unlike some other mexican restaurants. pictures don’t do justice how amazing they are.
the coxinhas are so good, definitely a must try.
horchata is very refreshing, perfect balance to the spiciness of the food. their sauces are equally great.
highly recommended.
A cosy, little Latin American eatery with a wide range of meals. We loved its ambienece and the friendliess of staff members was also praiseworthy! We went for the vegetarian nachos and we requested it extra spicy. It turned out to be a great choice. We also had a horchata. I found it a bit too sweet, but the cinnamon flavour in it was very enjoyable.
Sooo DELICIOUS . Get the beef burrito NOT minced. Horchata is the best yet. Sangria delicious and made with love.
Double check your receipt for accuracy.
good value for money; has a cool vibe.
we've ordered beef burrito (good), chicken arepas (good, but needs sauce to be yum) and beef nachos (very good).
Awesome little eatery with (what seems like) authentic arepas and other Latin American food.
We had the arepas and tacos, plus a horchata to drink. The arepas were the highlight - a Colombian dish of delicious warm corn flatbread cut in half and with rich fillings like pulled pork or chicken and avocado. This seems like their signature dish. I haven't been to Colombia but it tasted right, like it was they way it is meant to be.
The tacos were not as good and didn't seem as authentic - maybe the chef is Colombian? They came on blue corn tortillas but they had too many beans in them. Horchata was sweet but very yum.
The downside was the service. The person at the till was super distracted, and I had to remind her twice to make my horchata.
There is very little room to sit inside, so you'll be outside in the cold if you're more than a 2-3 person party. However the vibe is pretty good with contemporary Spanish-language pop and rock music blasting and colourful decorations.
Had lunch here alone. The beef enchiladas was incredibly yummy and spicy, the lady who took my order was super sweet and nice and they played good music!
From the moment I walked into Caribe Latin Kitchen in Queenstown, I knew I was in for a treat. I ordered the beef burrito and was blown away by how delicious it was. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the portion size was just right. The service was also top-notch - the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, which added to the overall enjoyment of the meal.
Caribe Latin Kitchen truly shines in their ability to create dishes that are both tasty and authentic. From the flavorful rice and beans to the tender and well-seasoned beef, everything on the plate was simply amazing. The menu is varied, so there is something for everyone, whether you are looking for a hearty meal or just a quick bite to eat.
Overall, I would highly recommend Caribe Latin Kitchen to anyone looking for a delicious meal and great service. The combination of tasty food and attentive staff make it a must-visit restaurant in Queenstown.
I love a bit of street food and this did not disappoint. So tasty and authentic. Not expensive and service was fast. Great margarita too.
WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! we were in Queenstown for three days and went every single day. Their black bean quesadilla is to die for ! lots of veggie and vegan options too. They have multiple homemade hot sauces on every table.
