Stepped in from the cold to this warm cosy place to have a casual breakfast.
An ample serving of bacon and eggs on toast with a strong hot coffee hit the spot. Served in good time with a smile and also reasonably priced.
Quirky decorations and a mind bending bathroom wall and floor make this place a conversation piece.
Atlas is a great find at the end of the Wharf. Small venue and tight seating, but this isn't a review of the seats. The steak and chips lunch deal was brilliant. The steak was amazingly cooked and seasoned perfectly. It comes with chips and a salad. If you pay an extra dollar (well worth it) you get two slices of bread. Overall this place was tasty, affordable, and a fabulous find. Well done Atlas!!
Love love love. We were in Queenstown for 4 nights and had a drink or two each night. I loved the rose by the glass and my husband experimented with beers. We tried the soft shell crab and calamari as nibbles before we ate elsewhere and loved them. Tonight, our last night , we were back to try the recommended steak.. fabulous for $20, can not go wrong. We moved inside as cold outside and had another drink... This is the only but...of the evening...the music was awful... speed metal... I know we are 49 and 54 years old respectively but really who likes it?? We headed home for our final drink of the evening...but Atlas is a fab bar we still love it and recommend it!
Great little place with amazing view and full of character!
They served delicious craft beer, malt wine and a wide range of drinks. Food is also delicious, especially their hand cut chips!
Outdoor seats are nice and warm even in winter, it's cosy with the overhead heater and blanket! Awesome...
Quirky, cosy little bar by Lake Wakatipu. Seating indoors and out. The door to the staff only area looks like a fridge door - kinda cool! The mulled wine was great; had a small cinnamon stick in it too, nice touch. We will come here again next time we visit Qtown.
Nice beer selection and great food. We visited this place randomly and found a nice tasty food and came back again another night we were in Queenstown. I would recommend this place for good gastro food.
Best little local bar. Great tapas!
Amazing food!
so good that we came back the next day to eat the same steak.
Very small restaurant with a really nice view to the lake. Love it!
What a find!
Great little place at the corner of the waterfront. Dropped by in the evening and was packed with people, so decided to venture here for breakfast the next day. Had the big breakfast, the food was well cooked and seasoned, the staff was super friendly. Recommended
My favourite vegan food in Queenstown so far after about 4 days of being here. Such a small little beer cafe but provides the best atmosphere and such a cozy place. Sat outside with heaters and a blanket and was such a pretty view too. Cannot say how amazing the food was, we got the burger, loaded fries and mushroom taco and omg 😍😍
Yes, you should definitely go here people!
If you value fantastic beer, amazing food and great staff, this is the place.
Sometimes missed by the throngs of water front walkers, but always has plenty of full seats and a nice buzz with those in the know.
Inside and outside seating, amazing selection of local and NZ wide craft beer (plus some overseas brews).
A must do when in Queenstown

Love this place! Always friendly staff and great selection of local craft beers. We enjoyed some lunch this time around. We shared the bang bang chicken, chicken tacos and fries. Everything was cooked beautifully. Beautiful warm day in the sun with good food and beers was wonderful way to spend a day in Queenstown.
Such an authentic craft beer bar, with an exceptional steak dinner. Excellent selection of local and regional brews that cater to every palate. What a way to while away an afternoon in QTown, looking across the lake.
Very cool locals hangout. Loads of great beer options and great vegetarian food as well. Lots of character and the character behind the bar named Paul was great to chat with.
Nice cosy beer cafe offering a large selection of craft beers. Friendly staff offering suggestions and tasters. The Sleg Dog Hazy IPA was refreshing and citrusy. Outdoor and indoor seating with view of the lake. Great place to chill away from the bustle and people watch.
Best beer joint in town and we tried most. Food is a real surprise. Everything we had was excellent. Couple of young people having a go and the location could not be better either.
Stumbled across this place 16 years ago on my first visit to qt, and have back every single day I am in Queenstown since. The quality, service and atmosphere has only gotten better since. Any time someone I chat is headed to QT I tell them, you have to go to the best bar in town, and I highly recommend everyone to visit atlas. Thanks again crew, can’t wait to see you all at my next visit
The steak was amazing and perfectly cooked. The staff was really good and very friendly. I didn’t have to wait long for my food and the view on the lake is stunning. I would really recommend it.
Such an awesome place!! One of the few places in all of Queenstown with TRUE vegan options, Atlas does not disappoint. They have a great beer selection, quaint ambience, and friendly staff. Oh, and the food is spectacular! Try the vegan burger.
