True South dining room offers the same excellent service found throughout The Rees Hotel. We had 3 courses, all of which were delicious. The wine list is extensive, and we shared a beautiful bottle of NZ pinot noir. Highly recommend.

In terms of the food this restaurant is top notch! Everything on every plate is awesome! The restaurant staff are great, but the hotel staff are a bit pretentious which sort of dampened my experience. The view is spectacular
True South provided the perfect cozy dinner for two to finish off the evening of our elopement in Queenstown! The lovely staff had reserved us a corner window seat and provided us with a very cute congratulatory dessert. They absolutely made us feel very special and the food was to die for.
Have to say, this is the best juicy, soft lamb I have ever had and the waitress is superb / heartfelt for her fabulous service. Thanks.
