We had coffee a few times here while walking and as a larger group of 7 we also had breakfast after the Parkrun at the Queenstown Gardens. We recommend sitting out on the deck or on the beach sand itself. The view is great and the food is good!
We had the oysters and the fantastic chowder soup at Bath House Cafe. It was incredibly delicious and the view was stunning. The service was also very nice. Thank you!
It’s so cute and in such a picturesque position on the water. Very small and when we went inside they had the AC on and the fire 🔥 on, it was just too hot to enjoy our drinks inside so we went outside. Didn’t try any food so can’t comment there.
Absolutely fantastic breakfast with a gorgeous view, exceptional service and good coffee. We have 4 different breakfast meals which were all perfect. 10/10 recommend.
The services, food and atmosphere are all amazing. I had the best granola bowl ever. The coconut yoghurt on top of the granola (as shown in the photo) was made in house and so fluffy, airy and light like whipped cream. I never ever had any yoghurt like this. They really should make some special mention on the menu (but they don’t). Another time we went there just for a coffee/tea whilst my husband was waiting for me to walk back from the nearby queenstown park. The staff took my chai latte inside to keep it warm and when I eventually arrived they decided to make me a new one because the previous one was cold. Not to mention the great view on top of the services and food. I would high recommend this place to anyone visiting Queenstown.
The BEST spot in town for taking in the views. Gorgeous menu, lovely staff, good vibes & seriously yummy food!
I had the Crispy Hash Brown with Poached Eggs & Collard Greens - not only did this taste incredible, it looked beautiful too! Couldn’t fault my experience here - will definitely be back for another Mimosa or two.
This is an update to my previous post. As promised we returned for lunch for the next 3 days and had a great experience. For us this is the best reasonably priced Restaurant in Queenstown. The food and service was at the standard we have been used to.
Best view of Lake Wakatipu while having a nice cup of coffee. How lovely (especially on a sunny day). ☀️
We live in town and it’s nice to stop here for coffee after a walk in QT gardens, and/or have a refreshing drink in the afternoon. They have a good selection for breakfast, lunch/dinner, and drinks! Champagne by the lake if you’re feeling fancy. Perfect place to chill if you’re visiting in Queenstown. Staff are friendly, and service is good. Highly recommended. 👍
Enjoyable meal had from our party of 5, with inside seats for morning brunch. Pancakes were fluffy & bacon was yummy. Beef burger meal was favourable & filling. The service was top knotch - awesome. Thanks for filling our tummies The Bathhouse.
The Bathhouse is probably my new favourite place to eat in Queenstown. You can’t beat the location or the view especially at this time of the year when it is so lovely to sit outside in the sun. The interior looks amazing after the renovations and it is nice to be able to see the chefs at work and interacting with customers.
I ordered the mushrooms on toast, and it exceed all expectations. The flavour was on point as it was perfectly balanced. Can’t wait to go back with friends again and try other dishes on the menu.
If you’re after an exceptional meal with friendly and attentive staff, then look no further than The Bathhouse. I had the mushrooms on toast with truffle and porcini custard, which was very much melt-in-my-mouth material! I also sipped on a Mimosa, which went down a treat in the sunshine! Plus, the mountainous lakefront views are to die for, and you can people-watch until your heart is content! The Bathhouse is a must-do if you're visiting Queenstown.
Legendary views of Lake Wakatipu, literally situated right on the lakeshore. In my opinion, the best eatery in Queenstown with lake views. Immediately identifiable by the bright yellow umbrellas! Breakfast was delicious and coffee was tasty. This cafe has a barista unlike most other options on Queenstown’s lakeshore, so the coffees are a step above the rest. Staff were lovely too.
Came in around 11.30 for an early lunch. Service was excellent. I had the seafood chowder which had these mussels and large fish pieces. So good! My mother in law had the pasta of the day which was yummy. My partner had the baked brie which he said was delicious and same with the chicken salad my father in law had. Views are stunning and it was a beautiful sunny day so we sat outside. Would recommend to anyone.

Took my fiance here for breakfast during our longweekend stay in Queenstown, we sat inside at a table for two against the window and admired the beautiful view!!!
Our waiter was very friendly and efficient. Great service. Our coffee and food arrived quickly. My fiance had the eggs benedict with bacon and I had the Bacon Butty with a poached egg on sourdough. Both dishes were good portions and were realy tasty. Definitely a lovely spot to visit and enjoy a coffee and breakfast. They also have a variety of cabinet food for something lighter to eat than a full breakfast.
Charming, cute and friendly, what a find! On the edge of the lake in Queenstown. Don't forget to stop in for a drink or a meal while visiting Queenstown. This quaint place is small but adorable. We shared the roasted camembert plate and drinks. I'll be back for sure
Friendly good service, beautiful location. I had Tuatara Hazy and chicken salad were so great! They let me to sit a big outside table on the deck because I had a dog on a hot day. A guy gave a water bowl for my dog. So happy lunch time we had.
