Literally the best restaurant in Queenstown. The entire meal was absolutely delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked, the roasted cauliflower delicious, the pavlova, there are no words to describe its sweetness. In short, it was incredible. The waitress was very kind, took the time to explain the menu and made sure everything was good for us.

Sat outside with amazing views. We did 1/2 dozen oysters, fried cauliflower and some drinks. Great, fresh food, friendly staff and beautiful view.

Had dinner here for our last night in Queenstown. Food was amazing & our waiter was super on to it! We went with the Trust the Chef option and i was surprised, almost everything that came to the table was something I wouldn’t have ordered but I enjoyed it so much especially the vegetarian options. They had live music playing when we arrived and it really just added to the great vibes of the place. Would definitely be back next time im in Queenstown.

Awesome location with great scenery, seating right on the water, can get a little chilly at night but the staff can supply you with a blanket… the service and the staff were positive, easygoing, informative and cheerful. We had the Head Chef’s Choice and the food was amazing, succulent, full of flavours. The wines from surrounding Queenstown regions was spot on and the cocktails specials didn’t disappoint. Highly recommended if dining-in or just enjoying a few beverages.

I had the char-grilled squid, pea & mint salad and beer tasters. For a start, you can't beat the view! The food was flavourful and beautifully cooked. It's a great spot for lunch

Public Kitchen and Bar is the best restaurant I ate at in New Zealand. Food was incredible! We ordered the “Trust the Chef” option which I highly recommend. I loved every dish. The grilled squid with pineapple salsa was incredible and fork tender. I’ve never had better. The pork belly had the most amazing flavor and was cooked perfectly. For dessert was a delicious traditional pavlova and a coconut crème brûlée which were both incredible. Great location, ambiance and staff! They even played some of my favorite songs!

Had a birthday meal here. They welcomed us with a birthday card on the table, which was a lovely touch. We had a range of dishes for 3 adults and 2 kids. couldn't fault any, salmon was lovely, pork belly delicious, even the kids pasta was made with love, not just thrown on a plate as an afterthought. The service was warm and friendly and most importantly, knowledgeable about the food and beverage offerings. There was live music playing which was noticeable and enjoyable but not too loud as to disrupt conversation. Nice vibe with the booths and big middle table. Great views from some seats, though we prefer the booth tables. They even assisted with a birthday candle in the desserts. Thanks, it's not our first time here and won't be the last.

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing dinner here! Holden was our waiter and he did a phenomenal job! He was so nice to us and gave us so many amazing recommendations on what to eat as well as stuff to do around Queenstown! We were very lucky to have him as a waiter. We recommend the ceviche, oysters, and salmon as small plates. We got the sole as the large plate which was the best sole my wife and I have ever had! We got the broccoli side which was also delicious. The mixed drinks are great as well. Everything was amazing! We will definitely be back! Thank you for everything Holden!

Food was promptly prepared, well presented and tasty, which is amazing considering they were really busy. Bread was a generous amount. Staff were attentive.
