Joes Garage - Queenstown - Photo album

The food was good but pricing was way higher for a such a small portion! Friendly staff but long waiting time for our order to come through despite not being so busy!
Grabbed a traditional burger for lunch 30 mins before closing.. quiet and had the place to myself despite the massive crowds in town for school holidays. Super friendly service and great food.. has long been my fav haunt in Queenstown.
We visited this cafe/bar many years ago for coffee & decided to return. Different crew to the ones I remember, but the coffee was still ok. Still the same laid back vibe inside, lots of retro bits & pieces on the shelves & hey ...they still have newspapers to read !!
You can definitely find great coffee here. Looks like a nice place to have breakfast too.
Joe’s Garage is American-style diner serving hearty breakfast fare, conveniently located within the QT city centre. We’d stopped by Joe’s for an early breakfast, where we got the Bacon & Eggs ($19.80), comprising two scrambled eggs on toasted sourdough with streaky bacon and hollandaise sauce, and
Can’t fault this place. We randomly chose a spot for dinner based on its menu. Ordered the lamb rump and Moroccan lamb and were absolutely delighted. Service was friendly with a good vibe. This place doesn’t have the “must visit” reputation, but with meals like we had, probably should.
Stepping into Joe's Garage is like stepping into your mate's flat. He cooks you breakfast and makes you a quick cuppa, it feels homie and has a lot of love in it. Unfortunately your mate doesn't make the best coffee and is on a budget. Portions could be more generous, he makes up for it with his ama
Looked it up on Google for somewhere for breakfast and the reviews where good. Turned up and the place was busy. Love the setting, simple stuff on the menu which I think is a great thing. Service was quick, meals came up quickly and coffee was great. I'd go as far as saying this was one of out best
We arrived and where greeted by two very friendly staff. The coffee was amazing and fast to arrive, we had a smiling Japanese waitress who took our orders quickly and made us a little warmer on these cold winter days. Would recommend as a great place to get breakfast and enjoy a quirky and well main
It was a cosy place for breakfast on a miserable rainy Queenstown morning. Their eggs and toast were fantastic, however, the coffee was just average. I like my coffee hot and strong, it was neither. If you like a hearty breakfast, you'll enjoy the food here, onlythecoffeelet it down. Overall, a good
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Went there on a Sat morning and managed to get seats for two families. Felt really cosy inside with people just enjoying their Saturday morning. Staff came along regularly to check on us. Tried ‘The Local’ which had all sorts of goodness like bacon strips, spu
Nice place, well hidden, Very busy and popular. Service was ok, considering how busy it was. This was off season so no idea what it’s like when it’s on . I enjoyed my coffee and bacon roll. My partner was un impressed with her egg. Felt it was too chewy and hard. I’m not an egg eater so can’t co
Authentically South Island - cheerful, no-nonsense food with a great rock soundtrack. Always busy for brunch and lunch, always fun, with a buzzy cafe vibe and the coolest customers and staff in town. Get the bacon, egg and bratwurst bun. It's the best hangover cure ever. You can thank me later.
