We just had our breakfast here. We had been here before during our last trip to Queenstown too. Loved the unique interior decors and cosy ambience here. Nice and lovely music too.
This time we had their cabinet foods, bacon egg & cheese pie, kumara & salmon pie, and flatwhites. Both the pies were awesome and they tasted like real homemade, unlike those mass production from central kitchens in most of the cafes in Auckland. The flatwhites were very good too, aromatic and with reasonably strong coffee taste.
We were lucky enough to have seen the lady owner there who was in her 60s, I think, as she only worked here on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I liked her pinkish hair colour, and loved her big smiles, cordial, friendly and energetic character. The other lady waiting staff was very friendly and efficient too.
I will certainly be back again in future!

Was really delicious, it was actually the only cafe that we could find in the area, but still impressed. Highly recommend. Coffee was great too
I've been a Bobs fan for years and every trip to Queenstown comes with a dose of this bad ass place! The staff are great, coffee consistently awesome, and the jalapeño and cheese bagels are to die for! Definitely worth a visit, or 10!
Great coffee, staff and service spot on...
Highly recommended! waiting for the food might be a bit long but the wait is worth it! The portions are incredibly big and it is DELICIOUS!
If I had to recommend a cafe in Queenstown this one would be definitely be in my top 3!
Although the wait was a little long, it was well worth it. I ordered a steak tortilla and it was delicious~
The filling was very generous and was cooked perfectly.
I will definitely go again.
I absolutely adore this place. I cannot get enough of Mary's (yes, the pink hair lady) gregarious personality, and her quirky jokes revealing her eccentric personality, which isn't in the least off-putting. I ALWAYS make time to come here for breakfast whenever I'm in town. It has already become a ritual for me. Despite having dined here for about 7-8 times now, I haven't had a bad breakfast like others have mentioned (could be luck, granted). Also, don't judge Mary too quickly as her quirky personality may be off-putting initially, but it's all for good fun. I myself am a Chinese but I didn't find one bit of what she said offending.
Food wise, GREAT! Absolutely adore having the option to order a bowl of drink! It's huge!
The place is small but very organized, clean and good staff working. I entered because the plate of the day called my attention. Steak ... when arrived was a sandwich. I should imagine because was too cheap for a real steak. Good try, I will go back and try other options too.
Lovely little cafe right smack in the center of town. Delicious food, coffee at very reasonable prices. Must visit!
Great place for reasonably priced coffee and food in central Queenstown. Very chill, warm, and inviting spot for breaky/lunch. Great music, too!
Nice place to stop for a quick bite in a casual setting. Staff were friendly and the food came out fairly quickly considering that it was decently busy.
Had the jalapeño bagel and pancakes for breakfast and was satisfied overall. The bagel was super good but seemed almost microwaved (was squishy) as opposed to toasted. The pancakes were pretty spot on and the coffee was decent - did the job. The space itself is small and diner-like but bright and comfortable. There are only about 10 tables, but it doesn't feel cramped.
Don't expect a quiet space as the staff are definitely having fun behind the counter and lots of telling and laughing fill the area.
Overall a good place to sit back and chill with a coffee and some food!
Good breakfast. Bit overpriced but so is everything in Queenstown.
Great breakfast and friendly service sums up our visit. We were driving around Queenstown at 7am looking for a café for breakfast, only found Bob's Weigh open. Definitely shouldn't be your last resort for breakfast. Pancakes were a treat. Coffee was good. Omelet with mushrooms was great. I'll come back here when next in Queenstown.
Loved this place ,great for a quick takeaway or sit in meal. No frills but quirky and delicious. Make your own panini, I had ham, brie, spinach and pesto - delicious. So good we went back the next day for another. Lots of other choices too. Friendly, quick and welcoming.
Nice enough, But I can see how you could love or hate this place, the service has allot of attitude and overheard some of the conversations between the owner (bright hair) and some of the patrons, not what you would call Professional or political correct.
Nonetheless the food was good and gooffee strong.
Would return for takeaway
4/5 "I Liked It"
Really nice spot for breakfast. The jalapeño and cheese bagel is delicious as well as the pancakes. The coffee wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but did the job! Would come again for sure! :)
Great food great service, reasonable prices as well
Have been on two trips to Queenstown in the last year. Visited these people for breakfast, both times excellent.
Motorbike friendly people with a sense of humour
Best pancakes in the universe, because there isn’t enough competition on earth, amazing coffee and the staff are so friendly and nice.
Mary (beautiful YOUNG lady with pink hair) is such a delight and a great host for your breakfast entertainment.
Bob's serves all day breakfast which worked great for us often rising late, the coffee was nice and our bacon & egg roll and eggs benedict were both very tasty as well. Was told 30 minutes for food but it came much sooner than that - lovely little place but you'll get told off if you put your elbows on the tables!
Stopped in at Bobs weigh for brunch and it was well worth it! The staff are so friendly and the food was great, so was the coffee. I'd recommend the egg's benny!
We had our brunch here 2 weeks ago. The serving is big by our standard. We love Mary who took our orders personally. Great food!
