Kinloch Wilderness Retreat Restaurant - Queenstown - Photo album

Live up the name, Kinloch is a proper place to be off the grid. Drive here is fun with small tiny roads, but once you are here you will be awarded by a nice view! They only serve light lunch, but staff are very friendly.
It's a little unusual to be asked to order your dinner meal just after lunchtime but I did and I was very happy with the meal. I had the slow cooked venison for my mains and it was incredible. Very tasty and appeared to be a Western European style. Dessert was the home cooked vanilla and almond chee
Wonderful hospitality. Location is simply stunning, Yoga in the Yurt relaxing and the Carrot Cake yummy. Thanks for the unexpected highlight of our trip so far.
Absolutely picturesque views of mountain and lake below. Food was good and healthy. Service excellent. Well worth the trip out from Glenorchy. Love the friendly dogs.
Lovely home cooked food. My partner and I went for dinner and loved all the little touches of welcoming your guests. Food was good and yummy and the views were so so good. Loved supporting local and helping out in some ways. Will return for a night stay.
We had a great breakfast after spending a magical day and night in the cabin
I hesitated to go to Kinloch because I'd been told there was nothing to see. Not only is the view splendid, but I discovered this lovely café quite by chance! Unfortunately I'd already eaten, but I had a great time on the terrace with a little refreshment. Well worth a visit!
