You have got to try this place! Eat all you can BBQ. BUT come here hungry or skip it. The meat will just come to your table and come again and again...and again.. until you flip to red. Go easy and slow. There are a lot of sides and you can ask for more. You'll love the Brazilian rice(garlic rice) and the grilled cinnamon pineapple. The service was impeccable. Hat's off to Jude for all the tips and food recommendation, it highlighted the end of my Queenstown working holiday. 5 stars to you!!!

Great churrasco with excellent service. The staff were handing out some roast lamb samplers when we passed by. Decided to return for the dinner service and left quite pleased To start, sides of seasoned rice, salad, chimchurri, salsa and sauces were placed on our table then the meats arrived in rapid succession indicated by the start/stop card Brisket and rump were the highlights although they were not always consistent in that some batches were overcooked and tough Staff enthusiastically refilled the side dishes and were pushing items that were fresh and hot off the grill eg. Pork belly and roasted lamb We had $5 single use vouchers from before and it was a nice touch that the staff offered to help split our bill to fully utilize them Grilled pineapple was a good desert to round up all the meats but is a little on the sweet side Restaurant is fairly quiet on weeknights Prices net out to around $70/pax

Greeted by the lovely Lanie and shown to a table was just the start of an excellent evening. Friendly, informative and the perfect balance for being weary after a day on the snow and an afternoon hike. We enjoyed some drinks, a shared plate and that fuelled us after a busy day. Not too busy with just a few tables spare and not overwhelming with the noise of other tables.

We got a table immediately, they served us quickly and very cordially. I ordered a meat which reached the exact point of cooking and was very tasty. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to eat a delicious dish and with very accessible values for any budget.

Although we’ve been to Queenstown many times this was our first time trying Fogo Brazilian BBQ. It did not disappoint. From online booking through to payment everything was easy. Upon arrival to the restaurant (wonderful atmosphere) we were greeted by the friendly staff who were from all around the world (NZ, Australia, Italy and more). Although we were early we were promptly taken to our table, nice and cosy on the balcony that overlooked the bustling street below. We opted for the “All you can eat” experience at NZ$76.95 each. We were served sauces and salads almost immediately and the meats, of which there is more than 10 varieties, started arriving. No matter your preference, you are guaranteed to find something tasty! There was at least 5 different staff who often checked in on us, asking if we were okay, how was the food, did we need anything else etc. We felt so cared for. My husband is a big eater and he was more than satisfied. The BBQ cinnamon pineapple is a must to finish. We were so full but the BBQ pineapple seemed to settle our stomachs. Greta recommended the Brazilian cocktail Caipirinha and boy oh boy it was delicious! Hubby had the non-alcoholic berry blast and loved that too. We went back to our hotel drunk on the food experience. We will be back, and we will tell all our friends and family about this place too. Amazing experience!

So curious about the farofa, had to try it. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The fried banana can be your dessert. Will go back again to try the churrasco 😊

The all you can eat experience is a good treat. The meats and sides are of a very high quality and the staff look happy. You can see and taste the passion they have for what they do. To start they give you some sides like salsa, bean stew, garlic oil rice, a salad and some sauces. Then the meats come around. It is best to get small pieces of each so you can try everything. My two favourites were: the slow cooked beef short ribs - they just melt in your mouth. The grilled pineapple with cinnamon sugar. It is juicy and a perfect dessert. I personally like to squeeze some lemon juicy on top to cut through the sweetness. I didn't get all the name of the 3-4 staff who helped me with food. They were all lovely. Wasa was helpful and attentive.

We had wanted to try this restaurant the previous day however it was a bit early. The next day while we were walking past the restaurant (it is on the 2nd floor) there was someone offering tasting of their meats. We tasted it and were convinced to have lunch that day. We went for the $20 Brazilian lunch specials; ordering Linguiça Brazilian sausages & Cordeiro lamb - defintely yummy & recommended!

We were a group of four (2 couples) and both went for the platter for 2. Perfect choice. Abundance of food, we took a doggie bag home. Justine and Marie were our lovely servers. Eye spied the churrasco service and all the meats looked devine, we didn’t do that option because it would have just been too much food for us. Highly recommend.

Amazing place! We were looking at the outside menu when a waiter came to us with a full plate of lamb, just off the barbecue - and the taste of the food did all the convincing! We had the "all you can eat barbecue", which is absolutely stunning, with terrific and various meats and delicious sides. The service was perfect. I particularly recommend the barbecue pineapple at the end of your meal. Enjoy what is probably the best meat restaurant in the island!

$20 Lunch is a really great deal! The staff are super lovely, and the food is yum. I blissed out on the pork belly and fried banana. Oh and don't forget to add chimichuri! Delicious!
