Doorae Japanese Donburi Cup-bap - Queenstown - Photo album

The food is pretty good except for the beef. Which is over cooked. The side dishes are pretty tasty too! 3 of us ordered 3 set meals.
Not too many Korean Restaurants in Queenstown, but was happy with the food and service we received last week at this restaurant. We enjoyed the BULGOGI - BEEF & BIBIMBAP. They were both delicious and flavourful. The only critique that I had was that I wish my dish was served warmer. I know I didn't
We had dinner here, the dishes tasted good except the dumplings
Gosh we ordered the Fried chicken with fries and army stew with noodles and cheese. It was so yummy! Wish we could go back for their BBQ but we were visiting Queenstown and we are glad we managed to visit Doorae for lunch! Amazing Korean food, thank you so much!
The fish roe hotpot that we order was pretty good
Yummy food, as my daughter put it; best Korean food!!! Lovely friendly team Definitely recommend it and will certainly go back for some more yummy Korean food Thanks guys 🙏👍✨️
Best korean food I have tried in Queenstown. I ordered osam bulgogi. It’s a stirfry sliced pork and squid. The sauce is just perfect, not overwhelming. Another dish is samgyetang, its a ginseng chicken soup, such a clean taste to have. Overall, great service and you can top up the side dish at no ex
I was dreaming of Korean food while tramping so by the time we came off the 5-day tramp and made it here, we were ravenous! Service was attentive and the food was served quickly, within 10 or so minutes after we ordered. I haven’t had authentic Korean food in New Zealand for a long time so the kimch
I searched and went near the hotel I ordered tteokbokki, seafood miso stew, bibimbap All three was so very delicious.
We loved it so much last year we came back the second time! Their kimchi soup is perfect after a hike. I think they use aged kimchi which makes it even more delicious. The service is very friendly and we will visit again next time we come to Queenstown.
There are only two Korean restaurants in Queenstown, both have good food but this one is at a more hidden location. It's a better option if you have a car and want to avoid the crowd - much easier to park around (there's a parking lot behind the building) and has so much more space inside. Good ran
Came here on Erin’s recommendation and had the vegetarian dwenjang stew (된장찌개), it was a perfect portion size for me. The curious thing though was that there were beef slices in the soup - I was surprised because the menu indicated this was vegetarian. I liked the veg side dishes too and the kimchi
We arrived at Doorae at around 5:30pm. We were greeted with such warm welcome. We had ordered KBBQ (Samgyupsal), Dwenjang stew and to complement our meal that we had we decided to have plum soju. We had finished our meal and decided to order another bottle of plum soju and with that we ordered the
