Delightful find. The coffee was perfect and the best cheese roll I've had in a long time

If you head down a side street off the main highway through Rakaia you'll find The Little Red Cafe (in a big red building) - you'll see it right infront of you if you park up to use the public toilets. Anyway, I always stop here, the coffee is fantastic! Never had anything to eat, but the cabinet food looks great, and the nice lady who runs it is super friendly. The place just has a cool, old school rural vibe and well worth a visit.

A gem hidden in plain sight! Quirky decor with delicious homemade sandwiches. We ate the fresh ham and cheese croissant and fabulous pulled pork sandwich. Love supporting local businesses. Enjoy!
