Went for lunch, the food was great and very large portion but well worth it and the coffee was so nice had to have a second cup, will be back to try other things on the menu. The staff were great, polite and very chatty.

Had breakfast there this morning with work, called earlier in the week to ask if a vegan option would be available Micheal the chef made a beautiful dish with roasted tomatoes, bell peppers and courgettes on ciabatta and hummus, would definitely recommend, beautiful food

Thank you to Hannah and her wonderful team for making our wedding day so special. We had such an amazing wedding day on the 14/10/2017, such a great venue. I would highly recommend The Station as a wedding venue. Hannah is really approachable and lovely to deal with, nothing seemed a problem. The food was absolutely amazing, the chefs did a great job. Thanks, Mr and Mrs May.

Exceptionally friendly service for my parents 60th wedding anniversary celebration, excellent food in a beautifully historic setting. We chose the fork and talk option for our menu and everyone loved the choices. A memorable event made even more special by the atmosphere at The Station. Thoroughly recommended.

Fresh local produce, best bacon I have had in a while, generous portions, definitely not lacking in flavours, as an experienced foodie who gets around the food scene would absolutely recommend. Best breaky in north canterbury!!!! check it out for sure.

Absolutely lovely people, great coffee and I love the pottery set up - it's just a shame about not being able to pre book a specific pottery item as the one I wanted was sold out! But I love that we had so much time to actually do the drawing and painting!

The service was fast, and friendly. The coffee was hot and beautifully brewed. The chocolate brownie was chocolatey, soft and devine. Loaded wedges, could have done with more red onion, in fact I hardly saw any and didn't taste any. Wedges had a soft potato centre -yum, heaps of sour cream delivered, but I did ask for extra. I personally would have preferred a bit more sweet chili sauce.

The atmosphere was nice. Coffee was good. Friendly staffs. Food portions are quite plenty (for me personally) but all good. Other than that, might prolly be a bit careful with birds stealing your food if you have outdoor seating, but that's handle-able I suppose :)

This whole concept is awesome and we had so much fun. Definitely something to do with a group of people! The drinks were lovely and the instructions were easy to follow. The pottery we all did turned out beautifully and we will be returning with another group of friends. Only thing we found difficult was the brush sizes provided, some of us wanted to do intricate designs and these couldn't be achieved due to the brushes all being quite large or fluffy. We are going to take our own fine brushes next time. Overall the cost of the items I believe is spot on! As we went in the school holidays, it took a little longer for our pieces to be ready after being glazed I believe this normally would take a week but took just over two weeks for us to be able to collect them. They were well worth the wait though and we are all extremely happy. 10/10⭐

We had such a great night painting our mugs, the staff were friendly and helped us pick colors that would suit what we wanted to paint and gave helpful tips! We also got the dessert platter and that was delicious

Went there to pick up some previously done pottery, and stayed to do more with the grandchildren. They loved it. Time for them to be creative. And after, we had some drinks and food. Staff were very helpful, and made a fuss of the little ones. Lovely place to spend an hour or two in an old historic building.

Always good food and great coffee. Has some of the nicest fries in rangiora too! Nice location, and great to be able to sit outside. Just needs a few dollars spent on tidying up the gardens and weeds and it’d be a five star cafe

We had our end of year break up lunch here. Fabulous food and service. I tried the halloumi salad for the first time and it was delicious. Can't wait to have an excuse to go back🥰 great shaded play area for kids, I had my 4 yr old granddaughter with me and she had a great time there and enjoyed her kids menu crepe meal.

Service was spot on. Friendly and welcoming. Plenty of menu options to cater for even the fussiest of eaters. Generous portion sizes. Also has a great selection of cabinet foods for a quick bite. Good selection of wine and beers available. Great coffee's. Can be very busy so pays to book in advance. Plenty of parking and all wheelchair accessible.

What a fantastic place; we love it here. The best coffee by far, food is top-notch. The staff are the best, they look after you and make you feel welcome. The venue is fantastic, the old Rangiora train station and it still feels like it too, great outdoor area, kids playground what more could you ask for in a Cafe. If you haven't been here, you're missing out.
