Went passed this outlet so many times but today's lunch was our 1st time actually tried this outlet out. Good location but we were surprised there was only 1 table occupied while other café nearby had at least several tables being occupied. Wondered why?, Anyway, we ordered Medium Mocha, Medium Hot chocolate, Creamy Mushroom with Bacon, and Sausage Roll with side salad. Drinks were good. Food was delicious, tasty. The only thing I personally have a small question mark is (once again!) the portion size. Maybe it's just the plate that was toooo big for the portion that they served.
The male owner/operator/server was friendly, polite, and helpful. No complaint at all!! Happie chappie on this aspect.
We really enjoyed our breakfast here this morning. The service was the best we have had for a long time and all the staff looked like they were enjoying working here.
The coffee was great, the food was standard cafe style and very tasty.
They have a highchair but no change table.
We will be back!
This cafe has been up and down over the years, seemed a bit neglected. But pleased to say that it's seems to be back on track, looks and feels alot sharper. Food is heaps better, tasty and fresh. Coffee very good, best in Remuera. The long term manager is one of the friendliest helpful cafe workers I've met.
Went here a year and a half ago... saw the most handsome man I have ever seen working behind the counter, mid twenties... never forgot that day! Great food and service as well of course :)
Opens very early each day, around 6:15 am. Good bloke that runs it as he reserves us our table as we have coffee each weekday after our early morning walk.
