We stopped by for a late lunch after being informed of this place by our rafting guides. We were on the verge of closing time so we called up and asked if we would be able to get food after her closing time and she said yes. Although we were there when she was supposed to be closed before dinner we didn't feel rushed and was able to enjoy the drinks and meals.
The menu isn't very big, but it does have a nice selection of dumplings. We grabbed a meal reach and shared come dumplings. I tried the vegan roti as it was the only item on the menu that didn't have meat. I was gutted that there wasn't a vegetarian noodle option. We also grabbed a few plates of dumplings to share. The roti was quite nice. Thin crispy bread filled with vegetables and a tasty sesame sauce. The dumplings were really good. We got the pan-fried ones and it had the crispy wings on it.
This is a really nice place for tasty and cheap food.
Food was beautiful , fresh and clean ! Up and coming small business defiantly worth a try !!! Relaxed atmosphere with great service
Great food. The tomato paste is delicious. The Roti has been well cooked and it’s so crispy!
Service is great, the owner is so polite and caring! Definitely recommend this restaurant!
We came here as a table of nine which is quite a large group. However, service was still efficient and the food came out at a decent pace. We loved the chicken and prawn dumplings as they were juicy and full of flavour. The roti was packed with veges and chicken which was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Overall great place to come but you do have to climb up two sets of steep stairs.
Excellent food and service. I loved beef noodle, had been the restaurant twice in 2 days. The only downside is , you have to climb 2 deep stairs to get in. highly recommended
The food and service are excellent! A must-visit-shop when you are looking for a cosy ambience and nice food (Caution: Serve with 100% love) in Rotorua!
The staff are so lovely, the food is amazing and tastes absolutely fabulous.
Definitely the best place in Rotorua!! It’s a hidden gem 💎
Love the dumplings and the beef noodle soup is my favourite!
The reviews are great so we thought we would give it a try and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the service was great. It does look a little like a hole in the wall but I suppose thats how you know its good. If you go, I would highly recommend the fresh mango juice (it was like a smoothie, so good!) And the chicken dumplings.
Came across this place on Google - saw all the good reviews and pulled up for takeout dinner. It was so good that during our 2 nights stay in Rotorua, we had dinner from here on both nights.
Hidden Gem! Must try it if you’re travelling to Rotorua.
Delicious meal. Dishes are flavourful and the noodles were perfectly done. We also got pan-fried dumplings which had generous amounts of filling and a lovely lace crisp. Would have enjoyed some vinegar and ginger with the dumplings, but overall a good meal.
Best food around! Haven't had noodles and dumplings this good ever before!
The food really is 11/10. I recommend fried dumplings (any flavour) and the chicken fried noodles. Good portion sizes and good price.
The husband and wife owners make everything by hand including the dumplings and sauces.
Great attentive service too, did not have to wait long for the food!
Hidden gem in Rotorua, we plan to visit every time we come to Rotorua from now on 😁
Edit: Food still holds up after a year! So good
This is like a hidden surprise restaurant in rotorua. Their foods are also surprising with a very tasty noodle. We will definitely recommend this, don't hesitate to go up the stairs. ❤️ Thank you for the kind lady who served us.
A hidden gem! I chanced upon it while walking along the streets but it was closed during that day. Came back to try their noodles and it exceeded expectations. Place was spacious and the lady that served us was super friendly.
Noodles and dumplings are 5/5 - well made and flavour is great! If you like spicy or hate it, don't be afraid to tell the lady so that they can cook it to your liking.
Will come back again if I am around the area.

stopped at Rotorua on our drive down the island. the sleepy town had most things closed on the rainy Sunday we pulled in, but we saw the great reviews for the food in this place and wanted to skip the more tourist area on Eat Street.
so happy we made it out here. the food was so very tasty, the noodles and dumplings were delicious. and the service was lovely! i love an out of the way food spot with people that truly care about the food they are serving.
highly recommend if you’re looking for a spot to eat on your travels!
Really good food! Had the pork and chicken dumplings which were very very tasty! Also had the fried chicken noodles which was also very good!
The lady at the front is very friendly too.
