Really inexpensive and delicious japanese meals made fast. This is a great spot for a quick lunch or to grab some food to go. Had the ramen and bento box. The ramen was surprisingly good considering that it is like a fast food place.
Foods are good, not too bad. Some foods are quite salty but totally good to try 🤩
Lovely food and staff. The place is very cozy and warm, lots of variety and the noodles are amazing. Tables could be cleaner but I understand that they could be busy sometimes. Presentation wise of the food, it’s very nice and looks like the menu pictures. I got a Tonkotsu ramen and the egg is beau
The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Our 3 children agree they should move &Rice to Wellington.... we will definitely be coming back next time we are in Rotorua. (Or maybe we will come back to Rotorua just for the food!)
Absolutely loved the food here! Tantanmen ramen was nice and spicy and the takoyaki fulfiled my cravings. Would definitely come back.
Very small place, it is bit narrow when we 4 adults with 2 kids come in at lunch time. We ordered Ramen noodles, tasty but not many noodle, we had to ordered extra noodle.

Got the bento box lunch deal. For only $12 we got this huge meal, absolutely delicious and filling: Rice, teriyaki chicken, 3 types of salad, 4 sides (shout-out to the brocolis/cheese bites). You get your money worth!
Excellent family owned store offering 5 types of ramen, fried dishes and sashimi/sushi. Quality is great and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Otherwise, I was disappointed in the rice dishes actually. I liked more the vegetable based dishes (rolls).

Was originally planning to have pizza for lunch but luckily the place was closed because & Rice is a real gem. Really good Japanese food at very reasonable prices. And really pleasant owners too!
Good price, very big portions and very yummy. Sadly I don't live in Rotorua otherwise I'll come again
