We had such a great time at this place at the end of a long day. The food was beautiful, I have forgotten the name of the meals as much as I wanted to remember, but we had two beef burgers and a chicken burger. The kind staff let us taste two beautiful ciders before making our decision, that was a difficult choice they were both very very nice! We went with the plum cider, excellent stuff! There was a great atmosphere into place, the gas fire added to the ambience and warmth, the staff was very friendly. It was a great finish to a wonderful day.
Awesome customer service- Always great banter! The food was a hit especially with 2really fussy kids!!! Meals were huge we couldn't fit desert in, priced really well. Will be back!!!
Lovely building with a large interior and multiple rooms for dining and drinking. We’ve grown accustomed to very warm welcomes on entering NZ restaurants, so today’s less warm greeting was a bit different. We had excellent beers, delicious fry bread, and a nice ribeye cooked to order with mushroom sauce. Had a stout for dessert — yum!
Wow, I love this place. The staff are amazing and always keen to please. Actually they pretty much rush to serve you at the door and communicate very well. This is fast becoming my workplaces local as it is pretty hard to fault. The food is great and for a busy establishment considerably consistent which speaks volumes for the kitchen staff. Having learned some of the team members names Louise & Mikey run a tight ship which is great but have to make a special mention to Daisy a very cool team member all the way from the UK. Love this place, great staff great location, don't have to go all the way into town to get a fantastic meal. Staff are always friendly and drinks on point. Their new summer menu has a great range for every taste bud. Definitely recommend stopping in for a drink and something to eat.
Good George is great. We love eating there. The staff is always friendly, service is reasonably quick, even on a busy night. The food is great. It's a place we keep coming back to over and over again. The atmosphere is fun, we like to sit out on the deck in the spring and summertime. My fiance loves their craft cider and beer options. One thing I don't like (and this is super miniscule), are the paper straws! 😂 That's about the only negative thing I can say.
Service is ok, max n cheese balls aren’t very nice (the chutney is weird) my Jackfruit roti was really nice.
I am a beer girl but actually think I like their ciders more! I was excited about the cherry cola sour but it missed the mark.

Visited on a trip over to Rotovegas. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff. Drinks came straight away and although the place was busy as, we only waited 20 minutes for our kai. LOVE LOVE LOVE the calamari and hawker rolls. Think the decor is cute and love good comfy chairs! We often have visitors to the Bay and this will be a place I take them for sure - thanks team 🙂
A nice large space with a wide menu range and good drinks. We had to wait quite a while for our meals, but when they came they were really good. Nothing particularly unique or special but solid. Large servings so I would recommend people be cautious of over ordering, and even order a starter instead of a main or share a main with a partner/friend!
Nice Brewery with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Tasty brews and good selection of food options. Good for families and friends gathering. Staff is friendly, can be a bit for service at times but overall not a bad place to visit. Front seating could use some updating as well.
Visited recently for a birthday dinner and was very pleasantly surprised. The food was on point and, tasty, and much more refined than most pub meals. F&B menus offered plenty of choice and staff were friendly. Only minor issue was that there no blinds on the windows or air-con so it was a little stuffy as the sun went down. Will definitely be back 👍🍺

Really enjoyed our evening here ! The Hazy Pale Ale was a great choice, as was the platter we shared. All the staff were friendly and helpful, too.
Visited again later in the year and enjoyed our meals again. Excellent steak special and the prawns with coconut rice were so tasty! Such a lovely, friendly and helpful waitress, too. Tried some other Good George beers - good stuff!

Perfect place to hang out with friends, families, kids. Ample space and perfect ambiance. The pork belly and Salmon dishes are my favs. Anyone who has got a taste of beer, do definitely ask for any new beer they are brewing. I have tried the Hazys and Pilsners in the past, and they are just amazing. Smooth and refreshing !!
