Out for the day and came across this gem of a spot ! Very friendly staff great looking menu! Coffee was amazing and the southern fried Benedict was to die for lovely presentation and great flavours gone in seconds will definitely be back when in town again! Keep up the great work!
Joined my sister & her kids for lunch at Hello Stranger. Fantastic choice for lunch. 2 kids shared a plate of loaded wedges (adult size), which they struggled to finish. 1 kid had the pancakes from the kids' menu which was supplemented with wedges from the other plate so may have needed to be bigger
Don't you just love it when you walk in to a cafe where you feel immediately welcome. A beautiful kia ora and seeing staff who clearly enjoy working together as team. Lot's of genuine smiles and laughter. The server's make you feel special and cared for. The coffee and breakfast was totally on point

Definitely a five-star cafe. I had the keto big breakfast and it was delicious. A great cafe for all tastes.
The waiting staff were very friendly and professional. My coffee came out fast followed by breakfast.

We're in a rush, so we just ordered a few items from their keto cabinet. They are all surprisedly good. We will go back for their menu items next time we go to Rotorua
Food was delicious and good portion sizes. I had the big brekkie and a mocha. Every part of the brekkie was great including the mushrooms. There are a lot of specific G/F and keto foods,
Had their mushroom, spinach filo out of the cabinet, was delicious and loaded with mushroom.
Update: no mushroom filo today, but tried their gooey camembert, which was pretty good. Staff were also very good about making an iced chai which isn't listed on their menu
What a great cafe. With a excellent selection of gluten free and dairy free choices available. Look no further if you have dietary requirements. Also a variety of menu items for others. My new go to cafe. Good coffee and fast service with friendly staff
Being gluten intolerant, it is very challenging to find a cafe that does gluten-free food as well as Hello Stanger does. The variety is wonderful, not the usual bland, no imagination food that we usually get offered. So thank you, Hello Stranger. Also, the service was fantastic, too. Staff so friend
The eggs and bene was actually really good and had a healthy serving of salmon to match:) would definitely eat there again
We had the fried chicken eggs Benedict and chicken waffle and two coffees, pretty good ,chicken was excellent, waffles a little dry and coffee very milkie. Good value all up.

Found this place on google and went off reviews. Happy to say that the food came out just like the photos I’d seen. Two people in the kitchen and the food came out very quickly and well presented.
We got the waffles and the kids eggs and bacon.

Definitely a go-to Cafe. Delicious, well presented food which I like to pair with their amazing iced chocolate. The mushroom sauce is so filled woth mushrooms I would come here for that alone - cannot be beaten elsewhere. Cabinet food for the person on-the-go. All round great Cafe and great service.
Nicest, softest GF savoury I've ever had!. So many GF choices in the cabinet. Coffee was served HOT. Just how it should be.
