Fish battered to crispy perfection 🀌 You will not get a greasy bite in this establishment, seriously the best fish and chips I've ever had!! We stopped here twice on our NZ trip, it's really really good! Just go try it, you will not regret it. The food is fresh, the sauces are to die for, and the owners are the friendliest people. It's been a few months since we were there and I still day dream about that delicious calamari covered in lemon juice πŸ₯²πŸ’”

πŸ‘: - Probably the best fish and chips I've had from a seemingly unassuming store by a road side parking. -Large portions at a reasonable price. -Comes with salad. -Crispy battered fish with juicy meat. -The sauces pairs so well with the fish and fries. -Owners were really friendly and nice! πŸ‘Ž: -Lack of seating area, there's only a small area indoor for waiting and a small setup table outdoor. Loved it otherwise.

The food and the owners of this shop are both amazing! You can tell everything made there is made with love and that they value the community. The tacos with the Asian slaw and adobo aioli are incredible and the chips are the perfect texture! Definitely my new comfort food place with so many good eats

Visited this place after checking the reviews. Over-all we enjoyed our food. Smash burger was juicy..superb that they used brioche. We love the dressing as well. Fish tacos can be shared by 2. Generous portion of slaw, and loved that it has bean sprouts..brings it to next level. The fish was a bit salty for us. Really needed that lemon squirt. Nonetheless, if eaten in one bite (combo of taco, veggies, fish) that is if it will fit in your mouth, somehow balances everything. Staff brought our order to our car, making it semi drive thru. πŸ‘πŸΌ πŸ‘πŸΌ πŸ‘πŸΌ Talking about service. Good job

Not just the best fish and chips in Rotorua, but quite possibly Aotearoa. Light batter, perfectly cooked fish, a decent portion of carefully cooked fries and mine had a slice of lemon plus some salad (an Asian slaw, with a light dressing). That combo is called a tackle box. Worth the drive out of town. You won't regret it. Awesome service too.

The best fish and chips I've had across both Australia and NZ. Came back twice on our 5 day Rotorua trip. Everything on the menu that we tried was delicious. Such fresh local ingredients. The prices are so reasonable. This place beats any other restaurant on Eat Street. Would highly recommend to everyone visiting in Rotorua. Will be back in future!!

Fantastic boutique fish n chips. We each got a "tackle box" meal and they were all lovely - generously portioned chips and salad, and lovely pieces of fish with perfectly crisp batter. Yes, it's more expensive than your traditional kiwi fish n chips but was far nicer. Very pleasant staff, very nice and clean shop and waiting area. Food was extremely well presented and very quick to come out.

Best Fish & Chips I’ve ever had in my life. Be sure to get the tackle box that includes your choice of sauce and a refreshing salad that really compliments the fish. The Pineapple Fritters shouldn’t be missed - golden bites of heaven!

Highly Recommended! As a tourist, I rely on goggle to recommend good food. Had a craving for fish & chips, and googled this place with an average rating of 4.9/5. So we drove 10 mins down to give it a try. It is a small shop at neighbourhood place, and the staff there are really friendly. I ordered Snapper Tackerbox, Calamari and chicken bites. It cost me $35, which is affordable. The fish and chips taste really good, and the salad actually surprises me. They added raw bean sprouts into the salad, which makes the salad very crunchy, and taste excellent. The calamari and the chicken bites are good too. Well done to the team!

Adobo fish taco is very good and must hv. Crispy calamari is home make, crispy and fresh. Will definitely come back.
