Burger is amazingly good; owner is friendly and kind to customize meals for two children; the size is big and chips/fries are so crispy and good. Recommended! By the way, a playing ground is nearby, check that out if you have kids with you.

Mango curry they had on as a special was great - the sauce was amazingly flavourful. No spice/heat, but they did give me a few chilli flakes to add after I asked about the spice level in advance =)
Our evening meal at Trundles on Teviot was soooo good. Grass fed strip loin, honey soy chicken, ham off the bone, the freshest new potatoes and veges were devoured by us all. Dietary needs were met with individual food plates handed out; no onions even got their own salad. Pav, cheesecake, and trifle didn't last long either - brilliant.
This was a large group booking and Bevan was fantastic to deal with, prompt replies, friendlt service, delicious food. Highly recommend. Nothing is a problem.
Stopped in today for lunch after looking through the town. My wife and son had the blue cod and it was superb. The cod was huge and was fresh. I had the double beef and bacon burger with home made beef patties. Well wow wow wow I have eaten some good burgers but I will be comparing all to this burger now. We all had milkshakes banana, chocolate and lime. Best milkshakes we have had in years. And don't worry about it not being big enough because you get it served in a tall glass, with the rest which will fill the glass a second time, in the mixing cup. The chap serving was so nice and honest it's like your visit an old friend. And the chef she can cook for us any time and she was so friendly also when she brought one of our meals out.
We will be definitely be eating here again.
We stopped at Trundles for a coffee, however decided to also have a meal. I had the Eggs Benedict and my husband had a pie with chips. We both enjoyed our meals very much and had we known about the cafe we would have stopped earlier on our travels.
The owners are wonderful people who make you feel welcome. We highly recommend this cafe and will definitely be stopping again when we in the area next.
Friendly staff and tidy premises. Food is lovely. Passing through the town and usually stop here. A little bit of a long wait for my food but worth the wait.
Service was brilliant and the burger meat was probably one of the best I have ever tasted. Very tasty burger and hardly any grease/oil. Chips are lovely as well! Beautiful little place and definitely worth to visit
We arrived when several cages were closing. The man was very accommodating, as he was also packing up.
He got us coffees and a lovely blue cod and chops. Didn't hurry us a very friendly.

Breath of fresh air. Friendly and reminds me of a uk bistro cafe. Great cheese rolls that are well priced compared to alot of other cafes. Fantastic smoothies, very big. Highly recommend
