Fantastic dumplings but small dumpling portions for the price when compared to other Asian food joints that serve more than for the same price. Nevertheless, will be back for more! Absolutely juicy and flavorsome dumplings. š

The dumplings here are really delicious and are generously sized. My companion and I ordered six each but needed 12 more. The larger size of the dumplings does, however, make them quite hard to eat, and the tightly ball of pork can often fall out. In saying that though, the taste of them still makes it an enjoyable meal.
Damn good vegetarian dumplings! Grab a beer and dumplings and have a good time. Make sure you grab the soy sauce, vinegar and chilli sauce! Would dumpling again, 10/10.
I love this place - Iāve had the vegetarian wraps, dumplings and salads- it all tastes so good!!! Great find for vegetarians and vegans. The environment is beautifully designed too, right down to the takeaway packaging š
What an awesome little place! The new Morningside precinct is great; huge bar, cafes and a few little food places down a wee alleyway. There isn't much seating, it's semi outdoors but there is really good heating. We tried pork, prawn, egg and chive dumplings and they were very good. Big, juicy, A++. We also got the spicy squid roll which was delicious and spicy. The manager/owner came out and talked to us, he was really friendly and nice. Really great experience, we'll be back. Thank you!
It would be criminal not to go here! Beautiful,fresh food,lovely airy ambience.still low key enough to have a good conversation bit the food makes it high key.A definite must!
Nothing speaks of summer more than tangy, icy-cold ciders by Morningcider (best intended pun in history we reckon) and juicy, luscious dumplings from Boās with memorable pieces of wall-art to boot. The dumpling wrappers are much more substantial than some of the translucent varieties, hallmarks of their northern chinese influence, and you can choose to have them steamed or pan-fried (crispy all the way, we say) ā at 10 bucks for 6 pieces, itās pretty dang worth it. Needless to say, there is now a well worn path on the 30 second walk from our door to theirs.Ā

Pork dumplings are incredible and I am so happy that they have finally arrived to Morningside!!! Absolutely delicious and spent at least one night a week there eating a delicious dinner!
I have been waiting for dumplings to arrive in Morningside for a long time and I am super pumped with Bo's. They are delicious, big and super well made. Ā The juicy pork dumplings are exactly what they suggest, full of yummy juice that if you are not careful will go everywhere! I like the pork and coriander is my favourite and the chicken and mushroom version is the toal fav of my 8 year old. Ā Bo's is situated in the lane in the new morningside precinct and is next door to Morningcider. Such a great little space and the fit out is epic. Stoked to have them in Morningside.
Best dumplings I have had! Really big, very reasonable for $10. Very juicy and flavoursome š highly recommend trying! Awesome spot in the alleyway, fried chicken and cider spot next door!
Actually the best dumplings in the world! Also there tofu and vege cold salad is a perfect accompaniment to the juicy pork! Can't recommend them enough.
Really looking forward to when this place re-opens! Finally got around to adding my review š„š Luscious, delicate, meaty dumplings with spicy and sour chilli dipping sauce. They are juicy little packages of happiness. You eat right outside the Morningcider taproom and these tall, crisp and ice cold pints of piquant pleasure make the perfect pairing.

The rolls are wonderfully flavourful and flaky. I got the spicy squid and I really enjoyed it. The other ordered the lamb and cumin one said it was great. The tofu was also really good, as well as the cucumber salad. But the winner for me is the side of spicy beef. It was sweet, salty, and sour with a hint of spice. A definite must have. Forgot to to take a photo. :/

We stayed in Morningside neighbourhood for a few nights. On the first night, we were hungry and wandered here. I'm originally from China and normally I don't go to Chinese restaurants when I travel, but this place looked so cute and I was so hungry, we sat down. And there was no regret. No offence to other places, maybe my husband was too hungry, but after travelling in NZ the South Island for over 2-weeks, my husband said this was the best food he had in NZ. Very tasty.
A cosy dumpling joint, down a little alley past Electric Chicken - how neat is that! I enjoyed the dumplings, you can get 6 for around $10-14 which isn't too bad. The flavour was good but if you eat there, it can be a little messy potentially... there isn't really any small plates around except the ones for dipping sauces. Overall, good place for a quick bite away from work.
The dumplings of this joint are fairly decent. I tried the vegetarian one and the regular pork and veggies one. Both were good, but the rapper is a little bit on the thick side.
Very cute stall type restaurant. The man working there was great. I had the tofu: great texture plus a sweet-salty-cumin-chili-onion-buttery sauce. Must try. And the pork chive egg prawn dumplings which werenāt anything to write home about. I want to go back and try their wraps!
Nice new hole in the wall dumpling joint. Rolls off the tongue that, but not this food, it goes straight into your mouth. Yum yum. Tell your mum. Dumplings were fresh and tasted awesome. Chili beef very good, cucumber salad could be shared between 3/4 if you order other stuff. Bo's dumpling is a nice little entrant in that area.
Amazing food, Great customer service since we ordered lots they gave us a free dish and the prawn dumplings were awesome.
Service is good, staff is friendly and food is delicious, we ordered pork sms coriander and were good but we also ordered veggie ones and were really good. Nice place to seat and enjoy a cider from next door or nice and cool water from Bo's.
The settings were 6 large dumplings for $10 November 2020 which is not bad for Auckland

Great hole in the wall dumpling place in a cute little sorta food alleyway. Had the chicken and Mushroom dumplings as well as the vegetarian ones, great flavor! Also had the lamb roll and the chicken roll. Really tasty and the pancake it was served in was nice and crispy. Also right next to a little bar that specializes in cider so you can grab a drink there to go with your meal.
Wonderful wonderful wonderful!!!! As good dumplings Iāve had in Tokyo! I would have taken pictures of my juicy pork dumplings and my smashed cucumbers but I eat the to fast!! If you need a quick bite and want a top quality meal, go here! I wish I lived here because I would be here once a week! The gentleman behind the counter greeted me with a great smile and when I asked what I should get, he was right on point! Donāt forget the vinegar sauce on the counter for your dumplings, and a note, the juicy pork dumplings are JUICY!!
Delish dumplings!!! Very friendly staff. My favourites are pork/coriander and prawn. The spicy beef cold dish is reallllllly good too. Love that you can order a cider from next door to wash down your meal. Iāll definitely be a regular customer!!

Was looking to grab a bite before our brewery tour at Urbanaut, and Boās Dumplings far exceeded our expectations for a quick, inexpensive meal. We selected the dinner feast combo that included a wrap, pork dumplings, spicy tofu side and a beer. I probably could have inhaled all the food myself, it was so deliciousābut donāt take that as a sign that the portions are smallāthey are plenty fillingāmy stomach would have burst, but I would have been tempted. ;o) The wrap was my favorite, and stuffed with more vegetables than I was expecting, which made the meal feel a bit more healthy. We also grabbed a lovely cider Morning Cidery next door to help cool my mouth from the spicy tofu. Super cute little alleyway seating. Only complaints, and not enough to deduct any full stars, are that it did take about 15 mins to get our order at 5pm on a Friday, so we were a bit rushed, and the alley can get hot in the summer. So Iād advise giving yourself enough time to relax, and grab a seat in the path of the big, industrial fan they have blowing.
I wanted to try the dumplings and see if it tasted delicious if they were a good size for the price which i ordered the chicken and mushroom dumpling.
