Review The Horsemans Cafe - Shannon

Alysha Richards
Nice little place located in Shannon. Have driven passed this place a few times and wanted to try it. Was only slightly disappointed with the service and meals. No hi as we walked in the door, but serviced quickly at the counter once we decided what we wanted. We ordered the pancakes and eggs bene. The meals came out quickly (but not at the same time which i hate) and they were very small compared to a lot of other places. The food however was very tasty and if I had the time I probably would've ordered something else as I left hungry. The hot chocolate could have used some more chocolate powder - but that's no different from most other cafes and at least it was hot. Overall not a bad place for a small town and will probably go back and try other things on their menu.

Nice cafe in a little town Shanon with good ambience. Tasty food & coffee, friendly staff! I wish you would take a little more care of the drinking water glasses, recommend using baking soda to polish to make it clear & shine. Hope this is a constructive feedback, no offend!

Long black coffee - perfect. Savory quiche - delicious. Their response to my muslim friend when there was bacon in her chicken panini - top notch! They apologised and replaced it with a bacon free one. Recommended!

Good food with a good selection. They have good coffee and awesome staff. I left my phone there by accident, when I realised and came back it was safe and behind the counter. Thanks a bunch, me and my mother love dropping by when passing through.

One of the best home made pie we ever had. Huge variety of sandwiches and pies are available in this cafe.

One of those hidden special places that you find on a hard day that makes everything feels better. Amazing food, really good presentation and standards. Congratulations for your great and very friendly customer service! Definitely coming back 🥰🙌

The only issue I have with this place is how come it took me so long to find it. The egg benie was fantastic lots of interesting components. Lots to eat so no need to eat much else for the rest of the day. I had a smoothie that was great as well. Let's hope I get sent that way by the boss soon.

A very cute cafe with a huge range and well made food to boot. I enjoyed the pancakes, that secretly had a slice of banana between each piece!

Great little spot on the outskirts of Shannon. We usually stop in on the way heading south. Enjoy the paninis and my daughter enjoys the lolly slice!
