Not a bad place for a quick lunch but could be better. We stopped there on our road trip across North NZ. Didn’t like how eggs Benedict were prepared, bacon wasn’t tasty at all. Staff were very nice. They also have tables outside.
Never disappoints! Always stop here when travelling through Taihape. Eggs Benedict with bacon was delicious loads of hollindaise sauce, great coffee too. Very friendly staff.
Best breakfast croissant I've had all year. Even included a side salad, which i wasn't expecting. Fast and friendly service. Will be back.
The best Seafood Chowder full of goodies served with garlic bread. Also very yummy homemade carrots cake. The girls in this Cafe know how to cook!

Stopped in for breakfast while staying at Awastone, Soul Cafe did not dissapoint, food was amazing! Nice staff will def be back.
Drove from Welly to Taupo yesterday and had researched a brekkie stop before leaving. Stopped here based on past reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. The eggs bennie was great, plenty of ingredients, well-cooked and piping hot.
Won't hesitate to stop here again next month when I head up the mountain.
Eggs bene on point, generous with the mushrooms i asked for on the side. Clean tidy and warm inside with the fire going...friendly service.

Was cold inside the Cafe. Log fire not going due to lack of firewood (in the middle of winter). The food was very good 👌

I had the French toast here and was blown away by the size of the meal (I couldn't finish it!) and how delicious it was. I'd usually select a savoury dish but fancied a change and I wasn't disappointed, truly delicious!
