It is a funky environment with great food. Loved the vibe, and food was pretty good as well. Really enjoyed my stop here and definitely happy with my burger

Very cool bar with chill vibes. Food was excellent. Had the wild goat balls and the wild goat curry. Both superb. As someone from the Caribbean though, the roti did leave something in to be desired. Too small and too thin. But everything else was great

Really enjoyed our lunch and drinks at Roots Bar. The burgers and fries were amazing. Burgers were very well crafted and fries were crispy and fluffy, one of a kind! Great selection of drinks and a relaxing garden space. Will definitely return when we are next in Takaka.
Great little bar with damn tasty grub to boot. Good selection of beer and all 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed the meals. Quaint joint, so you might wait for a table on popular evenings.
